Great beginner to intermediate board
Just took it for the inaugural run and I love it. I got back into the sport this season after almost 12 years out. I was decent the last time I rode so thankfully it came back to me rather quick. But there's definitely room for improvement so I was drawn to this board seeing that it's designed for progressing beginner-intermediate riders. The amptek profile is very forgiving. I can feel the difference from the old Morrow I picked up off craigslist and all the rentals I had this season. I didn't catch a single edge and I was pushing it quite a bit while also not paying attention snapping selfies and whatnot. I've got a bigger foot at size 13 so the wide is a great fit. And it really flies down the mountain. I'm 6'1" 240lbs and I've been riding mostly 160-163 this season but I went with a 166 and immediately noticed the difference. I was able to maintain speed on flatter spots where I've bogged down before. Also really love the versatility. I was mostly just riding the trails but I was feeling brave so I took it into the park and had some luck on a couple flat boxes and small kickers. All in all this board is dope and I would definitely recommend it for anybody from a fresh beginner to someone starting to feel confident in their riding and looking to get better. Love this thing. And thanks to the-house for their help!
