Description: Burton Custom Split Splitboard

The legend, star, and icon of the Burton line, the iconic, but never imitable, Burton Custom. Featuring the classic camber proifle,, get all mountain versatility, sans the high price tag. With the zero-gravity float of between the feet, you'll never go wanting whether you're in the powder, in the park, or on the groomer's. A more pronounced rocker in the nose gives you that extra oomph to get over that kicker or that powder pillow without breaking a sweat, and a mid-range flex makes it perfect for all skill levels, beginners and intermediate riders alike. The never-duplicated Channel Mounting System delivers on-the-go utility for adjustments on the fly, with the ease of flicking a wrench, for ultra-versatility all over the mountain. This season, add the staple of the Burton line to your quiver.

Burton Custom Split Splitboard
Excellent board. Very easy to set up. Running with spark arc bindings, couldn't be happier.

Great board. Camber/rocker hybrid is fantastic. Can't say enough good things. It's a bit heavy tho.

How will this board handle in powder?
A shopper on Dec 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I used this board back country last year, knee-deep powder. Handled extremely well, floated very nicely but able to get on edge when turns were needed. No complaints about this board the only change I made was I added a more secure fasteners when putting the board back together.
Can this be used with the Voile Speed Rail Binding? Or do I need the Burton Hitchhiker? Is one better than the other?

BEST ANSWER: Any puck style bindings will work. I ride Spark Arcs. Very easy to set up
I am 5'8'' and weigh 11st 11lbs. I ride a 158cm Burton custom and have been riding 15 years. I want to get into splitboarding this year. What size custom splitboard should I get - 156 or 160cm?

A shopper on Sep 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm a little confused on how much you weigh, but I am 5' 7'' 140lbs and got a 156 and that was too big for me. After the weight of the bindings I found the board to do great in powder but found it hard to control on tight technical descents off the summit of a mountain especially in a softer touring boot. Ultimately I'd say do 156-158max) unless you weigh more that I'm guessing based on the repetition of 1's. Also if you're thinking of more technical ascents and descents I'd get a hard boot (ski boot) set up for your split board. Just a recommendation!! Good luck
What year is this board?

This is the 2016 model of the Custom Split from Burton. Here is the 2017 model too:
I use size 11 boots, how will that work with the 160cm board?
A shopper on Nov 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The 160cm should be fine! (They have a 25.5cm waist width)
