Awesome board for an awesome price
I recently bought the wide 163 version of this board and I absolutely love it. Grips well in both powder and icy conditions, playful in the park and stable when bombing down hills. I was unable to find too much info about this board online, so I contacted Rossignol. They told me that it has a sintered base and all of the same technology as the jibsaw, just at a lower price point.

Is there a difference between the Rossignol exp and the jibsaw?
A shopper on Nov 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi! Yes there are some differences between the two. A major one being that the Rossignol Jibsaw comes with Magne-Traction technology, which is great for edge control.
the picture for the 155cm option is a 160cm...which one is it? I want the orange 160cm but not sure how to order it.
Jason R on Oct 16, 2015
I agree that something is odd here.... thanks for pointing it out. I looked at all of the Rossignol EXP Magtek Snowboards in our warehouse, and all of them regardless of the size will be the black / grey graphic shown as the 160 length board. I will fix this.
Does this board have magne traction? I'm 5'10 190lbs currently ride a 162 too big and want to tone down. I'm a very experienced rider who rides all mountain and powder. Do you recommend the 156?
Ryan T on Dec 14, 2016
This board does feature Rossignol's magne-traction. Your board length will want to be based more on your weight than height, but regardless Rossignol suggests the ideal length actually is around 160cm length. You could ride a 156, but it will be on the shortest end of your spectrum.
I wear size 14 boots. Is this board to narrow?
A shopper on Dec 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello, the EXP Magtek would be to narrow of a board for a size 14 boot. A wide board would be the best option. Thank you.
Is this board directional? And is the stance set back?
Big E on Sep 30, 2018
This board has a directional shape, twin flex, and 2cm stance setback. All-in-all it is a directional-twin board.
I have a rossignol exp mag but I was wondering what the closest 2018 or 2019 rossingnol board would be to it?
Big E on Sep 23, 2018
I would check out the Rossignol Angus. It has the same rocker/camber profile and a similar shape/flex pattern.
Hello, I'm interested to buy this snowboard, wich sizes are available? Do you have the wide version? Regards Olivier
Olivier T on Jul 23, 2017
We only have the 155cm length left and in the regular width. Everything else has sold out.
What do you mean when you say .8 cm stance?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Please rephrase the question.
I am looking for a board with more edge control and stability than my particular in less than perfect icier slope conditions. Currently I have almost no stopping power etc. but of course great in porder. Would this board be a good choice? Is it a Hybrid camber?
Frank F on Jan 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hello Frank, the EXP Magtek is a great board for a rider looking for an all mountain twin. It has Magne-traction, which delivers incredible edge grip for increased control and stability. Yes, it is a hybrid rocker/camber as well - 60% camber and 40% rocker (tip and tail). Thank you.
Flex says stiff but flex also says 8/10?
Tybane on Dec 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 1 being soft and 10 being extremely stiff.
is 160cm available right now? I want to order that one, but it says out of stock. I am 5'9", 172lb will 155 be too short for me?? Also which model year is this one?
Avradip M on Jan 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We're out of the 160cm right now, this is the 2015 model of the EXP Magtek. You're right on the edge for the 155cm... I'd suggest finding a slightly bigger size in another board.
Hi, the description says sizes 159 and 163-but sizes for sale are 155 and 160. Is this description correct? Does it have magnatraction?
Chris on Jan 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hey Chris, we currently only have 155 and 160 sizes available in this board. It does indeed have magne-traction.
is this board a jibsaw exp? it has jibsaw graphics. it like a stiffer version of the jibsaw?
