Description: DC Supernatant Snowboard

The DC Supernatant Men's Snowboard is the perfect board for taking to the mountain shredding groomers with ease and cutting your own trails through bottomless powder. This powder deck features a camber profile that provides the rider with a stable feel that holds a confident edge, giving you total control. Designed with carbon biax laminate and kevlar stringers, the deck maintains a medium-stiff flex that offers a quicker response and faster speeds for long rides down the mountain. The sintered base increases snow friction providing a faster speed potential down steep slopes and groomed runs. This lightweight snowboard is perfect for a rider with an intermediate to advanced skill level who enjoys greater control during long rides through natural terrain and offers versatile movement all across the mountain, from the roughest parts of the slopes to the smoothest trails. However you like to ride, the DC Supernatant Men's Snowboard will have you shredding wherever you decide to take it.

Carves Carves Carves

Mid 40s, live in a resort town, two resorts within 5 miles, board 2-3 days a week from December through mid April. We get that much snow. I don't jib or park. I go downhill one direction through trees, powder, moguls and anything else.

The board:

I mounted Flow step-ins because I'm old and don't like sitting in the snow to buckle-in. Mounted with no issues and work well.

The board feels very lightweight in comparison to previous boards. The finish also feels different. It has a texture, not like a smooth glossy wood finish. The detail in the graphics looks pretty cool.

No cosmetic defects to be found. Wrapper off, mounted bindings and hit the mountain.

How it Rides:

It does what they say. It'll cut and carve. This thing holds an edge for that surfing feeling dragging a hand in the snow. I've used it in powder, on groomers, and icy patches. In 6 trips it has yet to slide out. It's directional but I have gone switch, accidentally, a few times. There were no issues there.

The only drawback I have found to date is the tail end is a little hard to handle at times. It gets squirrely and can come around faster than you want. I have to pay attention and be conscious of where it is headed. Thus the one star drop.

Hope it helps.

Better in person
This board was a difficult purchase as the specs were great, but didn't love the picture. In person, the board looks much better and my son can't wait to use it.
