Description: Rossignol Templar Snowboard

Fight everything winter throws your way while having a blast riding the 2019 Rossignol Templar Snowboard for men. The Templar is the perfect all-mountain, freeride snowboard that is ideal for the intermediate to advanced riders who love getting outdoors and on the mountain in any weather condition. This Rossignol snowboard has a directional shape with a longer nose than tail which is great for carving and straight-pointing down the mountain. Along with a directional shape, the Templar has a hybrid camber. The hybrid camber is AmpTek's All-Mountain profile that features softer tips using rocker and a stiffer camber between the feet. This style creates an effortless ride that is super fun and versatile. Rossignol also designed the Templar with their Radcut sidecut for a more aggressive turn. ABS Sidewalls help keep this board durable for many seasons of use. This winter, enjoy all the mountain has to offer riding the 2019 Rossignol Templar Snowboard for men.

I’m a new boarder, caught on very quickly. Currently riding a hand me down entry level board that was used and abused.

Would this board be good for a beginner that’s going to pick up quickly?

My complaints about my current ride are the lack of control in hard pack/ice. I have to try what feels like extra hard to scrub off speed and turning on edge requires a lot of input.

I’m also finding that in powder the board feels slow and seems to have little float.

Would this board address some of those issues?

I want something that will be a smooth enjoyable ride that isn’t too fast or hard to control.

BEST ANSWER: The Amp Tek All Mountain profile shape of the Templar is stable where it needs to be and loose in the contact points. It grips great on groomed trails and floats awesome in pow!
I’m a 5’9 175 lb chick all mountain rider, would consider myself moderately advanced. I am looking for a powder board. Currently I have the Hel Yes board 155cm and love it. I feel like I’m at the top of the weight limit and if I get into some serious powder will want a board with more float. My concern as the board gets bigger is the weight of the board hanging off my leg on the lift as well as manuverablity. Any suggestions?

BEST ANSWER: As boards get longer, it'll get slightly heavier - but really not that much. As for maneuverability anything less than 5cm won't feel too much bigger. The 158cm Templar would be a really great all mountain/ big mountain/ pow board for you. Another great board would be the 156cm Burton Speed Date. BEST ANSWER: Hey Ethan,
This board will be somewhat similar, yep! You could also check out the One LF (https://www.the-house.com/9853roonelf19zz-rossignol-snowboards.html) and the Angus(https://www.the-house.com/9854roang19zz-rossignol-snowboards.html) for other options that, in my opinion, would ride a bit more similar to your EXP than the Templar would.
