We don't want your filthy money, we don't want your innocent bloodshed, we just want to end your world. I can just end my review right now, because that's what it says on the sidewall, but I'll go further in depth. We're talking about the Rome Manual right here. What you’re looking at is a more of a directional, all-mountain shape from Rome, definetly can still take some laps through the park, but this one is intended for a higher speed and more natural terrain.
It's got a directional shape, with a longer nose than tail. You can tell by the core here that it's going to be a little bit stiffer, around a 7 out of 10 on the flex scale. It's a full tip-to-tail wood core, 4 x 2 insert pattern that'll give you some stance with options in the ability to bang out a wider stance.
This board has the XTRD base, which is extruded and really easy to maintain, not requiring much waxing. It has a really good shred stick for an all-mountain rider, maybe not living in the park but perhaps occasional laps in it. It's a good jumper, good power rider, good speed rider, and a good price point, too. If you're balling on a budget, this Rome here is a good one to check out.
