Description: Ride Helix Snowboard

The Helix is a highly cambered twin shape with an asymmetric sidecut. What this means is your heel sidecut will be tighter than your toes. Ride didn''t invent asymmetric but they built one that they are damn proud of. This board is at home in the park or ripping hardpack. Ask Yuki, he basically won every contest he entered on this thing last year. This board is for you if you prefer a traditional cambered profile, and an aggressive sidecut twin. If you liked the DH, this is the next step.

Hey if I get the green helix board in 157cm would it be green on the bottom of the board too?
Brenyn G on Nov 3, 2017
The ones I looked at in the warehouse do have green on the bottom, but I cannot be 100% that is what you get.
Hey what size cm board would I need if I'm 6'1" with size 11.5 boots and weigh 165 pounds?
Brenyn G on Nov 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: With size 11.5 boots it'll be best to ride a wide board. With your weight, any board between 154-160cm would be good. If you like the Helix, you should check out the 156cm 2018 Ride Helix Wide here:
Do I need a wide for my size 11 boot? I have burton almighty
Tim H on May 15, 2017
In the case of this Helix, you will be close (normally a regular width board would be fine for you). I think the wide version of the Helix will be the better option.
Hi, how is the 2017 Helix on press and butters?
Joel Jansson on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I little more difficult than most. It's a stable board with a camber profile, carbon stingers on the nose/ tail, and hybrid fiberglass (triax on top/. biax on bottom).

If you can commit your weight into the press it can be done, but you'll really have to push it.
is ride helix 2017 stiffer or softer then the 15/16 model?
chriskedyret on Aug 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 2017 Ride Helix Snowboard is a little bit softer than the 2016 model.
How is the base on this board? Does it need to be waxed often?
A shopper on Aug 10, 2016

this board features a sintered base, which means it will require a bit more waxing. This is due to the tiny pores due to the way it is made. Riding in icy and hard conditions will also require you to wax your board more frequently. Though some people might wax their board before or after every ride, it is not necessary. I would recommend waxing after every 3 full days of riding!
