Description: Lib Tech Skate Banana Wide Snowboard

The Lib Tech Skate Banana is the original park conquerer that brought an entirely new direction to park riding in the early years of sliding steel. Lib Tech starts the magic in the camber profile of this deck using their Original Banana profile that makes for the best contour to learn how to ride on with a rocker section in between the rider's feet and adding mild camber zones from the feet and outward to the tips. Its true twin shape gives this board a versatile mission that allows the rider to throw this deck whatever way they need at any moment. Effortless edge hold is added thanks to a Magne-Traction edge that acts like a serrated knife with multiple contact points along the edge for a white-knuckle grip on hardpack and icy terrain. Lib Tech's TNT Extruded base is added to this deck for a bombproof base that is durable and easy to keep tuned up so you can spend less time in the wax room and more time on the hill. The Lib Tech Skate Banana has been one of the most sought-after decks in the jib world for its easy riding ability and playful demeanor. (This board comes with a wider waist width that will accommodate a rider with a boot size larger than 11.)

Absolutely great board
I've owned this board for 3 seasons, and I absolutely love it. Fun board, shreds almost everything really well. Definitely a daily kind of board, but i wouldn't call it an all mountain aggressive board. Overall an fantastic, well rounded board. Super fun at low speed / in the park, but can get a little scary at higher speeds. Bounces through variable snow really well. Edge hold is phenomenal. Not a true powder board, but it's floaty enough to get through it pretty well. Overall, this thing is my go to non back country board, and I've never had a bad day on it. The reputation of this legendary ripstick certainly agrees.

Unbelievable
Rode it today for the first time. I didn't expect to grow on me so quickly, from the first get go, I felt as if it was made exclusively for me. So playful yet so powerful. It rips through whatever you throw at it, but with buttery additude and confidence, that your can download anything you want. If you are looking for a playful, all-rounder, look no more.

Freaking awesome
This is the best of the best. Used to ride a camber board and switched to this banana from LibTech. It's like in the movie clip, it makes snowboarding more fun than it already is! Which is almost impossible. When in doubt, choose this one. No dissappointment !!

I’m 5’11 about 215lbs size 11 boot, what size should I be looking at? 159w? Or 162w?
Joev77 on Oct 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello, i would recommend going with a 159w if you are mainly going to be all mountain riding. you could go with the 162w and have it be more stable at speed as well as a little better float in fresh snow. Hope this helps
So I’m buying a new board and never really got into the tech behind them. Just rode a burton I bought a long time ago. Now that I’m wanting to start getting serious about my riding and getting better I was wondering if this will be good for riding in general. Nothing super fancy but will it be good for someone that’s wanting to to get serious about riding? Just don’t want the rocker profile to be overwhelming and me not be able to keep myself straight or loose control. Thanks!!!

BEST ANSWER: Hello Lauffer, the Skate banana is a great board for someone that is looking to get more serious as well as the seasoned vet that is looking for a fun all mountain/ park board. the rocker shape can be interesting for people that are not use to it but with magne traction edges you will be able to rail turns. hope this helps.
Will this board be good for hitting jumps?
