Budget board galore.
I bought one of these on the tail end of last season and spent 4 days riding it. The styling on the board is great, I got a lot of compliments on it and obviously know one knew what the brand was.

Overall it is a good board when you consider price, but performance-wise it's nothing to sing praises at the top of your lungs for.

I switched to riding duckfoot on this board since it's a twin. It feels muuuuuuuch slow, but that was on the factory wax. It floats great on powder and the springy noise and tail make for some fun riding.

It's quite heavy, which knowing that now I would have got it much shorter, my other boards are all 163 and I got this one at 160, but I probably should have gone with a 156 or smaller.

It's stable, we had one day of pure ice and the board was a little sketchy, but no more than my RC board.

For now it has great spring in the nose and tail and even with it feeling heaver I felt like I could huck it pretty well.

I really have no major complaints about it. If you can bump your budget another $200-300 you'll be happier, but this board (on sale) is equal to about 8-10 days of equipment rental fees; which is a win.

Too big for me, but a gorgeous board
I thought I could get a board smaller then my current board but still bigger then I actually need and be ok but once this board arrived and I saw it in person I knew it was still too big for me. Which is a shame because in person this thing is beautiful! the clear see through section is unique and awesome to just stare at. Unfortunately I wasn't buying this to hang on my wall, I needed it to perform on the hill for me and I knew it was just too long. (no fault of the board at all). But during the short time I had it in my living room I took a good look over the details and it is NOT a cheap board by any means. It is a beginner board as stated (another slight reason I decided to buy a different one) but I don't see why someone who's not a beginner can't still use a beginner board? Unless you were wanting to really do some unique stuff, but for the every day casual rider who doesn't want to spend a fortune, this board is perfect. The camber (Rocker) looked really good for beginner level and I could see why they say it would be tough to catch an edge on this guy. It also looked like it could handle the pow pretty good and still perform on the groom all season long. I'm really bummed they didn't have this board in my size but if it comes in your size and you are looking for a good average all around board for less then the big names, this baby is for you. check out the video review, everything he says (in all the videos for that matter) is spot on! sorry i can't give a review on actually riding of this board but it's summer and I returned it before I could ride it. But I did everything short of riding it and can tell you it is a good board!

Is there a 155cm or 154cm sizes for this one? I am right in between 153cm and 156cm
Mark M on Feb 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Mark,
Unfortunately no... the posted sizes are what is offered. In the case of this Haute snowboard I would go with the shorter 153cm length if you are between. Though your own preference matters.
I'm 6' 2", about 165lbs, and wear a size 10 boot. I'm looking for a board able to take me anywhere on Mt Hood in Oregon, or visiting Utah, and my other top pick is the Rossignol 2016 Circuit Amptek board. Which is better, and which size should I try?
A shopper on Feb 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The Chamoniz Haute is a great board, but the Circuit would be a better deal for the product.
will the 153 be big enough for a size 10 boot??
A shopper on Feb 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's doable.
Who is the manufacturer? Where is it made? Website, please.
Bcgers on Feb 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi! I am really sorry to delay your question.... I somehow missed it. The manufacturer is Active Boarder and I believe that is a contract in China from Chamonix. They are marketed directly through The-House website.... we are located up in St. Paul Minnesota (Little Canada to be specific).
