Description: Capita Peter Line Rainbow Snowboard

In honor of one of the most famous snowboarders-and snowboard graphics-of all time, The CAPiTA Super Corporation is proud to present the 2015/16 Peter Line Rainbow 153. This super limited edition quick strike features a topsheet rainbow raining life's wonderful vices, and a baby pink base intended to take us all back to 1995.

Built off of a CAPiTA Mercury chassis, this board features an all terrain camber configuration that floats in powder and charges hard through variable terrain. Loaded with high-end construction features, the PLR is built for freestyle progression and features a fast and low maintenance base.

Peter Line's legacy as one of the sport's greatest riders ever is unchallenged, and to share part of the story will be a 3 part web series produced by Mack Dawg productions. Episode one drops Tuesday October 20th 2015, and will be the official on-sale date for the board.

Is this board more like the Mercury or UltraFear?
L L on Feb 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Isn't this basically the mercury(TFA) with just different nose/tail shape? Same specs as Mercury and looks much stiffer than Ultrafear. I hope so, as I'm looking to order this week, and if it is more like the ultrafear I'm out!

Is this board similar to 16/17 DOA?
Mark H on Jan 17, 2017
I have a forum Peter line 151 from like 99 and it was a rad board when I bought it but now I think it's just too outdated and old. Will this new board be a huge upgrade and will I notice and big difference? Reason why I love Peter Line boards is cuz we have same stance are same size almost I'm inch taller and prolly a tad heavier. Not to mention he's the best ever imo.
Mark H on Jan 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You'll definitely feel the upgrade! Line is one of the greatest of all time - he's a gmae changer and it's so rad to see Capita paying him respect with this board.
Peter Line is something like 5'6" and 140 lbs. I'm wondering if I would be better off with the Mercury 155/157 since I'm at 5'9" and 160 lbs? However, I wouldn't have any problems pushing, carving, flexing, and popping the 153 at my will. Can I expect it cut through tracked out pow a lot nicer than my Capita Volcom Stone 156 which feels everything?
Jason M on Jan 19, 2016
They actually are going to be more similar than you think. Which one is better for you... is going to be based on your own opinion here.
So is this basically like the ultrafear only with an exterior makeover?
T S on Dec 29, 2015
Similar, but not exactly the same.
