Hi, I am 5''10 160lbs with a size 11 boot and just about to start learning snowboarding. Will this 2117 (152cm or 151cm) work for me?
Alan K on Sep 29, 2015
These 2117 boards are fairly simple, and do work well for entry and beginner level riders. If you want a good board to lean on and still be able to progress with.. I would look at a Burton Clash more at like a 155cm length. The 151 is going to be on the short side.
im a very aggressive boarder, i got a LiB Tech T.Rice pro right now and im looking for a soft flex board that i can just have fun with in powder and not worry about it breaking, is this a good board?
Andrew on Dec 1, 2014
I think this 2117 Identity board would be great for what you just described.
Would this board be good for doing butters?
A shopper on Jan 12, 2016

you can definitely perform some buttery tricks on the 2117 of Sweden Identity. However, depending on your style and if doing buttery tricks mean a lot to you, I would suggest a board that features rocker technology. If you're looking for an all mountain ride with the capability to do a little bit of each, then this board would be perfect for you.
My son is 5"4 and 130 lbs. He wears a size 7 1/2 street shoe. He is an intermediate snowboarder. Would this be a good board/ size for him?
A shopper on Jan 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I can't calculate between feet/inches vs cm at the moment, but for intermediate riders, I recommend that the board length reaches his chin or right below his chin when standing the board upright. I'm between 5''8 / 5''9 and my board length is 152cm. I have no problem getting around. Hope that helps.
Hi, I was wondering if this board would work for me? I am 5'4" and 100 pounds and lean towards intermediate snowboarding.
A shopper on Jan 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely! The 2117 of Sweden Identity Snowboard is perfect for the beginner to intermediate rider. I would recommend the 148cm board based off of your weight and height.
Hi, I was just wondering if wide or regular would be better because I have a size 11 boot?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thanks Cameron. Here at The House we recommend that anyone with an 11+ size boot move up to a wide board. You will be able to make a regular width board work though. You normally want a waist width of at least 25.8cm with size 11 boots. If you are still unsure, go test one out and find out what fits best for you!
I'm 5"11 180lbs and just starting would this be good for me?
A shopper on Jan 8, 2017
Most companies will put you on a snowboard in the range of 157-159cm length. This is a solid and simple entry snowboard, but it will be a little too small. If our boot is 11.5 or larger you will want a 'wide' board. Something like this:
Would a set of Union Flite pro bindings fit this board?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes! Union Flite Pro's WILL work with this board!
I'm 5"10 and a beginner to intermediate with size 12 feet, will the wide fit?
Noah L on Nov 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Noah! Yes, the wide version of this board should work great for you!
Hi I want to purchase this as a gift for my boyfriend but he is a size 8-9.5 boot. Is this only good for larger boot sizes?
A shopper on Oct 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: That's an awesome gift! Your boyfriend's size 8-9.5 boots will work on the 2117 of Sweden Identity Snowboard!
I'm Looking for a good board just got into it and love it but what do I buy for me? I'm 6' 190lbs
Damon R on Jan 3, 2015
And sorry to delay your answer. A lot of your decision will be your own personal preference , style of snowboarding, and even what companies snowboard you choose. You will be around a 160cm to 163cm length snowboard. Look for an entry to intermediate All-mountain ride. or would be a starting point. I recommend you chat with our snowboard specialists to sort out the perfect board for you. 1 (800) 409-7669
I am 5'6" 140 lbs and have a size 10 boot. is this a good board for me?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: For your height and weight, this 2117 Identity board is not bad. It has a waist width of 24.7 which is close to being too narrow for your boot size, but would work. Note that this board will be good for someone who is going to cruise the resort and begin to develop some skills. It will be best for a less aggressive rider.
I'm 5"11, and 145 lbs. what size bindings and board would I have to get?
Hal W on Nov 26, 2014
Most of this answer will come down to personal preference, and style of boarding you do most. 2117 suggests this 152 might be a fine board length. I would look between a 152 and 160.
would this be a good board for riders with size 10 US feet?
A shopper on Nov 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This will work so long as you feet are not continuing to grow (11 or 11.5 will be a bit too long).
Does this come with bindings and boots?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No the 2117 Of Sweden Identity Snowboard is board only. Boots and bindings need to be purchased separately.
