Description: K2 Bottle Rocket Snowboard

There is a reason that some of K2's biggest pro's choose the bottle rocket as their stick of choice when shredding the park or taking it to the streets. If you've ever watched K2 pro's like Jake Kuzyk or Mark Wilson ride, you know they need a deck that can handle anything they step up to. The Bottle Rocket from K2 comes built on a flat camber profile, for a playful feel and a stable ride. A true twin shape ensures the best ride when riding switch or regular, so you can spend more time taking all those tricks you learned this season and now learning them switch. A soon to be a cult classic in the K2 line, the Bottle Rocket is here to rip and just needs you to grab the wheel and push your limits.

Good for me!
Who this board is for: People looking for an aggressive board that wants to send it! The board has some extra boost because of the ollie bar. It has also performed well so far in slightly icy and slightly powdery conditions in early season Colorado. I also took it into the park. I'm not a "park rat" but I found this board was good for me to get started on box rails and throw lil spins off of different surfaces.

Who this board is not for: Anyone looking to just carve up fresh deep powder. It definitely works in that as well but there definitely much better board for that.

No regerts buying this for me!

I'm 6'2 and 190lbs, my all mountain board is 163cm, should i get the 160 bottle rocket or the 156?
pahkawgee on Oct 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The 160cm Bottle Rocket would fit you best.
So I'm 6'2 and weigh 155 pounds. Do I go with the 156 or the 160?
A shopper on Feb 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This is a true twin freestyle board in their "volume shift" style, so the 160 rides more like a 163. At your weight, I would recommend this in 156cm and that's only if you are size 11 boot or higher. If you are 10.5 boot or less, go for the 157cm K2 Fastplant instead.
What is the edge bevel on this board?
John S on Sep 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The base bevel should be around 1 degree on the K2 Bottle Rocket.
Hey I'm 6'1 , 180lb with size 12 boots. What board size do you recommend?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Board size is really preference.....I am 6 foot 200 pounds I can ride a 150 board which is good in park and being nimble but I I can't keep up with guys board has more chatter at higher speeds I can ride a longer board like a 160 just as good it not as nimble but has better stability at higher speeds kinda just depends on how you ride the k2 bottle rocket size that I got was a 156 I like it it's fun board its fast board and good in the park as well
I normally ride a 154. Would it still be good if I got the 152?
A shopper on Nov 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Just bought this board at the end of last season. My previous K2 board was also a 154, but this board in a 152 feels very similar if not exactly the same. The size of this board might be a little bit skewed if you ride a board that doesn't have a snub nose like the Bottle Rocket.
Does the board come waxed and ready to go (except bindings)?
A shopper on Oct 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The answer to your question is yes. Mine came with a large sticker on the bottom that took some dedication to remove before taking the board to the mountain. A damp cloth worked well enough.
I wear a 13 boot, will a 160 non-wide board cause toe drag?
A shopper on Feb 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you'd be at major risk for toe drag on a non-wide. However, EVERY size of this '17 K2 Bottle Rocket is a midwide board .. they just don't mark it specially but this is a "volume shift" style board specifically made for heavier riders or those with longer feet to get on a shorter length. I have this exact board in 160, it's very stiff and rips in every condition (and I paid more than the price it's showing now). If you are on the fence just buy it for sure, I doubt the 160s and 156s will last long.
I'm 5'7 and 145 lbs. What board length should I get? would 152 be good enough?
poohbear on Oct 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The 152cm would be a perfect size for you.
I am 5'7" 165 lbs and a 9.5 boot. Can I rock this 156?
A shopper on Nov 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yep. That would be a great size for you!
I’m 5’5 160 pounds and wear a 9.5 boots what size would be best for me?
Steve on Nov 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey Hunter,
I would go with a 150-155cm board. In this board, I would go no bigger than the 152cm since it rides bigger than it actually is.
Im 6'0 150 pounds, will i be good with the 156?
A shopper on Nov 7, 2018
I would actually go with the 152. You could do the 156, but it will ride more like a 161, which is big for someone your weight.
I’m 5’4 and 150 should I go with 152 or 156?
A shopper on Oct 19, 2018
I would definitely go with the 152!
Would the 152 fit my size 10 boots?
A shopper on Aug 31, 2018
Yes, the 152 can fit up to an 11.5 in boots, so a 10 will be great!
So essentially, the 152cm has the same surface area as a 154cm? And the 156cm has the same surface area as a 158cm? Im 5' 11" 162- been riding for years on the advanced terrain end debating what size I should go for.
Charles I on Oct 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: At 162 lbs. the 156cm Bottle Rocket will be a great choice.
So it says you can drop a few CM from your standard board length, I feel like dropping from my 148 to a 144 may be relatively drastic. Any thoughts on going that short? Was worried about not having much under-feet for landing larger jumps.
A shopper on Dec 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The Bottle Rocket rips and features shift shapes that are slightly wider.
I'm 6"0 n 190 what board length should I get?
A shopper on Dec 9, 2016
You question is not overly clear, but for someone 6' and 190lbs you would want to be looking for a board somewhere between 160cm to 164cm length...... depending on your style and skill.
How will this board hold up on medium sized jumps and rails?
A shopper on Aug 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The K2 Bottle Rocket is a great all mountain freestyle board. It rips fast and slays in the park.
