Description: Jones Hovercraft Snowboard

Supreme float and rally car-like handling have earned the Hovercraft a cult following. Riders around the world swear by the Hovercraft's nimble maneuverability as this power-packed board deftly handles blower, crud or crust one and the same. New for 2017, the Hovercraft has a Spoon 4.0 Nose and Speed Channel tail. The edges of the Spoon nose are beveled up for improved float and turn fluidity while the tail edges are beveled up for less catch. In between the raised tail edges, the base is concave like a channel on a surfboard for improved glide.

I am 6 foot 180 pounds and I use a size 13 boot. Would you be able to recommend a board size? I currently ride a LIb Tech 157 Wide.
A shopper on Jul 14, 2016

with the Jones Hovercraft, I would suggest nothing smaller than the 156, which has a waist width of 26cm. With a size 13 boot, you can get away with a board that has a waist width of around 26cm.
190 lbs size 9 boots...156 or 160? I'm kind of overweight right now so I weigh anywhere from 175-90.

BEST ANSWER: The 156cm would be rad.
Demo one of these last sia. Greatest thing ever. I'm 6'1 200 lbs size 13 boot. Feel like they threw me on a 156. (I know rides bigger than is)
156 or 160 you think?
A shopper on Nov 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It will depend on your style, but for stability I believe Jones suggests a 160cm length is the ideal option here. That is what I would select in your case.
I want a board that will give me the best ride in powder will the hovercraft be the best option or would the flagship?
A shopper on Nov 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Both are great boards, but the Jones Hovercraft will be be the better of the two options for deep powder slashing.
I want a board that i can have the most fun with in all conditions even with jumps is the hovercraft best or Flagship?
A shopper on Oct 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Both are great boards but the Jones Flagship will be a more well rounded board. Check out all the Flagships that we have in stock HERE:
I am 65 180 lbs and ride an old lib tech camber board. Looking for a great carver. Would this board be to too strong for me. I need an all mountain that has some forgiveness? maybe the Jones mountain twin a better fit?
Dofpic on Oct 2, 2016

The Jones Explorer Snowboard would actually be a little better than the Hovercraft and Mountain Twin. The Explorer has a slightly softer flex, and a super smooth ride that isn't too aggressive.
I'm 5.7foot and 150 pound I ride I 150 twin tip all round usually what would you recommend for me?
Chasey180 on Sep 22, 2016
You can be on something anywhere from a 151-157. I would recommend staying around the smaller end of that scale. If I were you I wouldn't get anything bigger than a 152cm.
