5 stars for the price!
This is a fun board for cruising some trees or hitting your first jumps in the park. It's a really light board and can get cookin' pretty good speed wise because of that sintered base. You won't break any speed records and you might break your neck if you try to charge some push piles but at the price this board delivers a ton of fun and looks good while doing it. A great deck to have in the arsenal especially if you're not having epic pow days everyday.

Amazing All around board
So I took a chance on this board right around Christmas when it was on sale. I have to say it is treating me well. The base is durable and has no gouges or scratches after 3 days on pretty thin snow. It also is VERY playful. I find myself buttering all over the place with the more flexible middle portion, while the carbon stringers give it good pop (I am able to get more pop from a Nollie than a normal Ollie, But i think thats more personal than the board due to the true twin layout.

This board is also LIGHT. I went short (152W for a 150/160lb rider) and I am glad I did. I feel well controlled in the air but also like I am able to react quickly on any type of snow.

Also I disagree about the board being slow. I see my friends and am able to catch up even without a fresh waxing, and the profile makes it very easy to do minor speed or direction adjustments.

I would definitely recommend this board if you are interested in going into the park. It is flexible without being a noodle and playful without sacrificing control and carving ability

chamonix jv squad 152 wide
i purchased this board as a cheap, low speed, small mountain deck that i wouldn't be afraid to destroy riding over stuff and through trees, and it delivers. although its advertised as a rocker shape, its actually slightly cambered. its very soft and presses easy, but has little to no pop. lots of fun on flat, ducking on and off the trail and fooling around, absolutely terrifying over chop at speed, but in a way fun pushing it to the boards limit. its great as a 2nd board for cruising with your girl and slower friends, and thats how i recommend it.

Is this board good for a beginner at terrain parks and want to learn?
sdswedwewe on Feb 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This board is great for any level, it’s designed to be easier to handle on terrain parks. That being said your skill level should be stepped up through practice and time. Terrain pArka are fun but dangerous for the unskilled. Keep at it you’ll be an expert in no time. This board will help you navigate through with ease. Love it!!!
