Description: Burton Custom Twin Flying V Snowboard

The legend, star, and icon of the Burton line, the iconic, but never imitable, Burton Custom. Featuring the revolutionary Flying V profile from Burton, get all mountain versatility, sans the high price tag. With the zero-gravity float of a classic camber between the feet, and the power and pop of a rocker in the tip and tail, you'll never go wanting whether you're in the powder, in the park, or on the groomer's. A more pronounced rocker in the nose gives you that extra oomph to get over that kicker or that powder pillow without breaking a sweat, and a mid-range flex makes it perfect for all skill levels, beginners and intermediate riders alike. The never-duplicated Channel Mounting System delivers on-the-go utility for adjustments on the fly, with the ease of flicking a wrench, for ultra-versatility all over the mountain. This season, add the staple of the Burton line to your quiver

Custom Twin Flying V is Great Board
We have several Custom boards I hoped this was as good a board as I had owned in the past. I am over 60 years old and have been aggressively boarding for over 5 years now. I can't say I am an expert but I am really good. I have missed only 19 days in those 5 years boarded nearly every day they are open. Very durable, I have never cracked a custom board, at least not yet any way. Fair to above average pop, more than I need to worry about (I used to jump like I was in my 20s, flex is great for this not too buttery. As far as rails, I am not too sure, one would have to ride on them further than 5 feet to comment here :( . Great control on groomers, it loves deep pow and handles iced over conditions as well as the best boards. The edges are sharp and hold well when pushed. Not too loose on the faster down hill runs. Crisp response in the turns when pushed and quite tame when just cruising. I own a number of full camber boards and I like hybrid rocker much better. More playful but not loose. Some times the picture is a bit much for some to comment nicely about, but if they tell me I am a on the "dark side" any way, so no matter. I like this board and have no need for any better, yet.

Hey, I have shoe size 13. Would the boots fit on the board (15/15 setup), or show far over the edges?
Manuel S on Oct 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Good Day Manuel,
Even with your 15/15 this board will be too narrow for you.
Is the Burton Custom Twin Flying V Snowboard 2017 a smart choice for intermediate riders?
