Great Riding Powder/Groomed Good Pop
Rode a burton bullet before I got this board and always caught an edge and never trusted it for any of jumps no matter how small. That thing was hard to turn with and wasn't stable at all. As soon as I rode the Subculture I noticed better carving abilities, remarkable speed, and felt stable enough to try the jumps. My friends didn't expect me to catch up with them like I did with this board at all as I always caught an edge falling unexpectedly. I thought I was the problem, but it was the !@#$ used board's fault. The Subculture is an extremely responsive board but also very stable, made for all mountain riders, and way better than my old board, I absolutely LOVE IT!

Great board !!!
Gave it 4 stars only because the season hasn’t started in NY yet so I haven’t been able to ride yet. But besides that the board looks amazing and the flex when strapped in feels perfect for my average skill set

Does the precision lifted camber feel any different than a traditional cambered board?
Jeffrey P on Feb 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It has lifted rocker at the tips. Ollie's are easier - less catch on spins, etc.
Do you need to wax and new board k2 ?
A shopper on Dec 28, 2017
Basically any snowboard we sell (including this Subculture) will come with a basic wax from the factory. It is never the best, and I suggest you get it rewaxed by your second or third time out. The more wax.... the better!
I'm 6'0 150 pounds with a 10.5 boot size and I need this board. What size board is best for me?
tmaney on Nov 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: At 150 lbs the 153cm would be your best bet.

I am 5'9 160 pounds. Would a 153 be a good size for me if I enjoy riding park but mostly go down the mountain?
Anthony T on Sep 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: im 6' and 170 and I love my 153 its perfect. I get control and speed when going down park and just cruising the mountain
I'm 5‘7 150 pounds with a 10 boot size and I want this board. What size board is best for me?
Edwin y on Apr 5, 2018
The range Marvin presents is pretty good. For this Subculture board the 153cm length will be the best choice for you.
im about 5'5 180 and wear a size 9 boot what size board would be good for me?
mojo7 on Feb 7, 2018
Be careful of Marvin's answer.. as you want to base a snowboard length on your weight mostly....his answer might be great for his weight. With that, most companies will put you on a board in the range of 153 to 156cm length. You could ride the 153 subculture here, but it will be on the shorter end of what you will want to ride.
Is this a better board that the Rossi Krypto?
A shopper on Sep 25, 2018
It depends what kind of riding you want to do and how you want your board to feel. The Rossi Krypto will have better grip in icy conditions and more float in powder, but it is a bit stiffer. The K2 Subculture is a little softer than the Krypto and will be a better choice if you ride mostly groomed runs and dabble a bit in the park as well.
I’m buying the 153 cm board , now if I buy a pair of Flux TM or TT medium bindings the will be comparable with the board?
A shopper on Sep 24, 2018
Yep! This board will work great with Flux bindings!
This seems like a great board for me. I’m an all mountain/freestyle rider I love to cruise down the mountain fast and also slow hitting every bump and jump on the sides along the way down as well as park features. I’m athletic 5’7” and 168 lbs. Boot size 10.5 What size board do you recommend? I see a 150 and 153 available. I’m coming from a way undersized board under 150 I think it was 142 or something and used it for 4 years worked good but feel like it made it harder to land and ride out high jumps.
Jeffrey B on Dec 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Of the two sizes available the 153cm would fit you best.
I’m 5’4” and 165lb. Looking to upgrade on my old Ride DH 151. I used to ride primarily park but now that I’m older and go less often I spend far less time in the park but looking for a similar style board to hit the entire mountain with. This caught my attention but would you recommend the 153 or 156 for me?
J C on Nov 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The 156cm Subculture would be a great fit. You could also check out the 156cm Ride Berzerker. The Berzerker is a grown up version of the DH that's a more all mountain friendly, and it's 51% off! Check it out below.

I wear size 11.5 boots will the 158 be wide enough?
Trevor B on Sep 30, 2017
It will be a just a bit too narrow. We do not currently have this version of the Subculture available in the Wide version but we do have the 2018 Subculture Wide here: Assume that with an 11 1/2 boot you will want a board with a waist of 25.8cm or wider.
What would be the better park board the subculture or the www?
Wyatt411 on Jan 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Tough call. Both are good in the park. I'd say go with the Subculture for more of an intermediate-advanced ride, and the WWW for more beginner-intermediate.
Hey I'm 6'2" and 160 lbs, I have a 158cm board right now but I feel like it's way too big for me because I prefer riding park and trying to throw new tricks. My boots are a size 11 so would you say i go with a 153cm? Or i can just get your take on sizes
Trevor P on Aug 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If anything got with the 156cm K2 Subculture, especially if you have a size 11 boot.
What does the base color may very imply? Will the black turn to white and visa versa?
Trevor P on Jul 14, 2015
Great Question. Snowboard companies vary the base of snowboards all the time... we never know exactly what we will receive. The top-sheet will be exactly as pictured here. If you want a specific snowboard base you can place your order through our Sales Dept: 1 (800) 409-7669 they can help!
