Great Board, Stable, Fast, and Confidence Inducing
At 40 years of age and almost 20 years of riding under my belt, I'm now finally hanging out in the park and taking jumps. I had been riding a Burton Custom Flying V with a rocker design and I felt prone to catching edges. I decided to pick up the DC Media Blitz 5cm shorter than my Burton and I'm loving the shorter board and camber design. Confidence is high in the park, groomers, and crunch; have not boarding in the pow yet with this board.

This board is amazing
This board is a great intermediate and advanced board for all mountain use. The edges are amazing and if you are a intermediate rider who loves all mountain use than I highly recommend this board!!!

I'm 6ft tall, 170lbs and I currently ride a 153cm salomon the villian board. I spend about 80% in the park and the rest cruising the mountain. My question is about the DC media blitz being "down sizable" should I get a 150 or bump to a 54? Need amswers please guys! Thanx

BEST ANSWER: I am 5'9 and usually ride a 152, i rode a 150. either would work for you but since you normally ride a 53 i would lean towards the 54 just because you are probably comfortable with a bigger board.
Does this board come pre tuned?
Aaron M on Nov 26, 2018
Yea... This board will arrive with a factory tune, though it is never the best. Especially with waxing..... you will want to re-wax it within the first 3 times out. Short answer... it will come tuned, but you will want to tweak it to your own style.
im 5'9'' and 115 lb could i ride a 146 for all mountain?
A shopper on May 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 146cm DC Media Blitz Snowboard would be a great all mountain ripper. Jai is right, the Media Blitz is pretty darn stiff - it has tons of stability at high speeds, and massive amounts of pop.
Hey guys, I'm 5"10 tall and 143lbs, I ride a 155 Burton Hate and a 155 DC PBJ. Which size should I get of 2015's DC Media Blitz??
A shopper on Feb 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We currently only have the 146cm size available for this board, however DC puts someone your weight as fitting this size very well!
which bindings and boots should i buy for dc media blitz?
Aleks on Oct 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The DC Media Blitz Snowboard is ultra responsive and poppy, it would be a good idea to get boots and bindings that match the feel. Check out the folowing:

I've been thinking about ordering one of these. Not sure what size I want. I'm 6ft and weigh about 185lbs. I've been riding a Burton Clash 151 for years and ready to upgrade. Would I be alright with the 154 or should I get the 158? Also I wear a size 13 boot if that plays a factor.
Luke W on Oct 11, 2016

The Clash and the DC Media Blitz Snowboard are VERY different - so different that they're pretty much on the opposite end of the riding spectrum. The Clash is flexible like a wet noodle and the Media Blitz is like an oak door - super stiff.

With you size 13 boots it's a good idea to ride a board with a waist width of 25.8cm or wider.

The DC Focus Wide Snowboard might be a better deck for you. Check it out HERE:
I ride a 152 board, but I think 150 should be a nice size for me. Im 6ft by the way. Should I get the 150 or 154?
A shopper on Aug 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The DC Media Blitz Snowboard's length is greatly determined by the rider's weight. How much do you weigh?

150cm Weight Range: 120-170 lbs
154cm Weight Range: 130-180 lbs

Pick the length that has your weight closest to the middle it's weight range.
I'm 6ft tall and 143Ibs, I ride a 152 rome board. Should I get a 150 or a 154?
A shopper on Aug 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You are kind of in between sizes, however for your height I would recommend getting a 154.
Is the board good on rails?
A shopper on Aug 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Torstein Horgmo's pro model the DC Media Blitz Snowboard is a beefed up jumping board designed to go fast and stay stable.
