Description: Capita Indoor Survival Snowboard

The Indoor Survival is the most versatile board in Capita''s collection and is loved by a wide range of riders. These boards carve hardpack with ease, and they're pre-positioned for pressing boxes and rails in the city or in the park. Due to the elevated contact points and mild rocker, they also float in powder amazingly well. They turn so easy, that beginner and intermediate riders love them for carving, but so do some of the best rail riders in the world for jibbing. And, they float in powder too?!?! No wonder the Transworld Good Wood Award winning Indoor Survival is a CAPiTA classic.

Would a size 12 boot catch on the 152 cm?
a a on Feb 7, 2017
I live on a really small mountain with mostly jibs and small jumps. I also ride a lot of urban. Occasionally, I go up to Vermont and ride al mountain there and hit up the bigger parks there. Would this board still be very good for jibbing at my local mountain or should I get more of a jib board like the Rome Artifact or the Capita ultrafear? From what I heard this board is more stiff and more of an all mountain freestyle board rather than a park board.

BEST ANSWER: Yo! Awesome question. The Artifact, Ultrafear, and Indoor are all awesome boards - you can't go wrong with any of them.

Capita rates the Indoor with a softer flex (5/10) than the Ultra Fear (5.5/10). If you jib a lot the Ultra Fear's sidewall Kevlar/TItanal Body Armor is a great addition that really holds to rails. The Indoor does have a nice sturdy feel under the feet because of the dual Inlaid Titanal Struts which make it more torsionally stable at higher speeds than the Utrafear and Artifact.

Overall the Artifact and Utrafear will ride really similar and be great for park, but the Indoor will be a little better for all mountain freestyle riding.
