Description: Burton TWC Standard Snowboard

The Burton TWC Standard Snowboard may draw attention for its design thanks to the help of Norman Orr, a legendary poster artist. However, this board is more than a pretty look, with amazing technology to make for a smooth and powerful ride. Featuring a Fly Core and Biax fiberglass, this board has a medium flex yet still impresses with its responsiveness. The EZ V Rocker and Directional Shape make it a solid performer for both all mountain terrain and freestyle usage, making the Burton TWC Standard a great item for any rider.

Key Features of the Burton TWC Standard Snowboard:
  • Double Chair Package
  • SHAPE: Directional [3-5MM Taper Depending on Size]
  • FLEX: Directional
  • CORE: Fly
  • BASE: Extruded
  • SIDEWALLS: Slantwall
  • Shaun worked with Norman Orr, a legendary poster artist for the iconic rock venue Fillmore West. The detail is insane. Artist: Norman Orr []

Great Beginner Board
The Burton TWC Standard is a great board for a beginner to intermediate level rider. The switch from a rental board to this was unbelievable in my opinion. The price of this board really hits home because it performs the same, if not out performs, similar boards for higher prices. It really is 'catch free' and has helped me improve my carving skills and even riding switch even though it's directional board. So, for the price I would definitely recommend this board to a beginner or intermediate level rider

"Not the best, but good for the price"
Id agree with the other reviewer about the icy snow conditions. IT can have some edge issues with really bad snow, but I liked it better that him. I still found it comfortable and responsive. Definitely worth 4 stars for the price

Reasonable board for a beginner
Reasonable entry level snowboard for those looking to progress from renting. Not great by any means, but rode this as a rental for a week in France and made good progression

What kind of burton bindings would be compatible with this board?
A shopper on Dec 3, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I have been using the Burton Freestyle bindings with this board (and past boards). I love them. Price point is decent and they are good quality. If you want to spend a little more the Burton Cartels or Burton Customs are also pretty legit. Hope this helps.
What's a good board if I weigh 180lbs otherwise what's my board size?
A shopper on Jan 10, 2014

I'm 6foot, 175 pounds. Would the 157cm size be okay?
A shopper on Jan 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: You're in luck, you fit within the weight range of the 157cm Burton TWC Standard Snowboard!
What size is best for a person that 173 cms tall?
Richard on Oct 25, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Hi Richard,

Board lengths are better suggested by a riders weight. How much do you weigh?
