good for all around riding
Ive been snowboarding for probably 15 years and I bought this because i wanted something soft and playful. My previous board was a burton royal and I loved that board so much. So far with this one ive had a lot of fun and it is easy to ride. Deff good for all around riding and will flex and move as you need it i have no regrets. The only thing negative i have is hard cuts in hard packs are a little sketch and thats where my royal has this beat. But all around, would buy again and recommend for any all around rider.

Lots of snow on the slopes.
I bought this board for my 18 year old. He likes it very much.
He snowboards on lots of powder, and he also does the parks.

It says its un upgraded version of clash (which was considered one of the top snowboard of 2017, but was taken out of burton's line).

It seemed to be the best beginner board.

What kind of bindings compatible to this board?
A shopper on Mar 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Good Day,
Actually be careful here.... not all bindings will work. The Instigator snowboard uses the Channel mounting system, and will need channel compatible bindings. Though many bindings these days ARE compatible... not all will be. Take a look here: https://www.the-house.com/est-bindings.html
What size bindings work with this board?
Travis S on Mar 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I use large/ XL pretty sure any size will fit long as it the channel lock set up ! I highly recommend this board !! I’m running it with the bright pink xl mission bindings. Hope this helped
does the board come waxed?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The boards are waxed and ready to ride, but it is recommended to get some fresh wax after a few days of riding.
Would this board be the right size for a boy that is 5,8, 130 pounds and size 11 shoe?
A shopper on May 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes the Burton Instigator Wide Snowboard would be a great choice for him! The wide board will accommodate his size 11 boot and going with a 150cm board will get you a few extra seasons of riding. I hope this helps.
Would this board be the right size for a boy weighing 125 and size 11 shoe?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
Ricardo's answer about the width is great... he will not really require a Wide board yet. As far as length... he will be ideally in the range of 147-149 (depending a little on his height) and he could ride this 150, though it would be on the long end of the spectrum.
Would this board be good for a 5,9 teen. 155 lbs. and size 10 boot? I don’t know if the fact that I’m 15 does anything.
Angel_24 on Aug 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hey Angel,
Based on what you've shared, your recommended board length is a 157cm. The Burton Instigator Wide Snowboard is a great choice however this one is only in stock in a 150cm wide. Below is a link to the New Burton Instigators we have available for purchase.

I’m 185lbs, 5’ 8” and wear a size 11 boot. Should I buy a wide board and if so what size?
O L on Dec 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You fit within most boards' suggested weight range of sizes 156cm-164cm. The best size for you would be close to 158cm. With a size 11 boot it'd be a good idea to get a wide board. Check out all the boards that meet your specs here: https://www.the-house.com/snbd-wide-snowboards.html?nocache=1&refine.pagenumber=1&refine.size=157%20-%20159.5&sort_by_field=Namesort%3AASC
Is this a good board for a size 11.5 boot?
A shopper on Dec 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For the boot... yea, this is a good choice.
