Talking about the Burton Dominant snowboard, also known as the Burton Dom, one of the best park snowboards I have in the shop for a couple reasons.First off, you got twin shape, equal nose and tail. However it does have a little bit more stiffness in the tail for jumps and stuff like that.
Other than that you’ve got Burton’s 1045 sidewall. What it does it has two different angles and putting a little bit more meat over the edge. It’s going to give it better grip on icy conditions and make it a little bit more durable on rails. From there you’ve got an extruded vision base, really good pop on the graphics. Not too much maintenance so you don’t have to wax it too often.
Other than that the snowboard does have their infinite ride construction to it. Basically, they overbuild the snowboard and they put it into a machine that simulates about two to three years of usage. So the snowboard that you flex and the showroom flex is the same two years down the road. It really makes the snowboards have probably the life than anything I’ve got in the shop. Other than that, you’ve got the hot simulated grip tape surface and obvious skateboard base, really, really good style to it and just an awesome, awesome riding snowboard. TheBurton Dominant snowboard, Cop one!

    It's a Shred Stick!
Simply put I love my burton dominate! This board can hang in there with most of todays top park boards no problem. Leave the edges sharp for a superb pipe board or dull em down and shred street rails like no other, this board can pretty much do it all. It has more pop than you'll ever need for jumps yet soft enough to make you believe its not butter! Iv'e road over trees, rocks, and even the occasional patch of asphalt with this board, and if i didn't know better, i would have swore the base is made of hardened steel

    Something to Start With
I just started this year and bought this board. For the price is was an excellent deal. Though for the break down of what I thought. I liked that it was stiff which made learning to carve easy as well as taking on boxes and rails in the park. What I didnt like is I thought it would hold up a little better I already had a crack at the point where the begins to rise up from buttering around. Basically good board to start on, good price, but Im going to get something with a bit more flex next year. DONT FORGET EST BINDINGS ONL
