Description: CAPiTA Defenders Of Awesome Snowboard

This deck has singlehandedly vanquished enemies, laid siege to castles, and conquered armies. The 2019 Capita Defenders of Awesome boasts more Transworld Good Wood Awards than any other board. Intermediate and advanced level riders alike, prepare to duel your opponents on your favorite freestyle deck. Those who seek to reign over the park, boost side hits and slash pow, as the king of the hill, look no further. The DOA has a next-generation hybrid-camber design which serves you with the predictability of a reverse-camber and the pop of a traditional camber. This deck's reputation comes as no surprise with new technology consistently being introduced, like the Fortress™ Kevlar bound sidewalls. If you're looking to capture the whole mountain, like your own personal terrain park, the 2019 Capita Defenders of Awesome Snowboard should be your weapon of choice.

If you know what you're doing this board is meant for you!!
This board is a great board but you definitely have to know what you're doing or else the board will start giving you some serious problems. It's not the best in powder but it's really good at carving. I definitely think this board is meant for people who know what they're doing and for people who have experience.

I ordered this board about 2 months ago, and still have yet to receive it. Do u know when I will?
Derek T on Dec 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I ordered mine in September and haven't gotten it yet either. I called customer service and they told me they hadnt' gotten them in yet but were hoping to by the end of December. It's a little ridiculous considering the season has already started...
I’m just beginning to learn tricks but I also want a board that is good and stable at high speeds and carving. Is this board a good fit for me?
A shopper on Jul 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey!
The Capita DOA would for sure be a good pick for ya! It's killer in the park but definitely still stable at higher speeds due to the hybrid All-Terrain camber profile and medium flex.
I'm 5'2" and 135 lbs. Will a 152 be okay for length?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
A 152cm length could work for you, but I think it will be on the long end of what you would want. It depends a little on your style, but something more like a 148cm length snowboard be more ideal.
would you pls wrap the board with bubble paper and stronger carton for extra protection and label with Fragile outside? cause my friend will help to ship from US to HK again.

I’m 5’4, 185lb, would a 152 be straight for me?
BillyBased on Jan 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hey Billy, 152 would be great!
How often does the board get caught? I know that there is slight rocker on the tips, so i was wondering how much this helped to keep the tips from catching.
Yousina on Mar 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This is a great board that is very versatile in all conditions. Truly an all mountain machine that can handle carving groomers as well as park riding. As far as catching an edge goes that depends on the conditions you are in but the board profile helps keep you on your feet. This board won the good wood award 7 years in a row so you know it's going to be a fun ride!
I'm 5"5 130lbs. I'd like to use this board to improve with tricks. But if I use a size 150 will it help in POW? Or what should my preferred size be for POW?
Jestony D on Mar 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: 148cm is your recommended length but sizing up to a 150 will give you a bit more float for powder riding. Either length will work well for you in fresh snow or riding park.
I'm 5'8-9 190-200 lbs with size 11 boot do I need a wide board? How short can i go? Can I go over the given weights? I want a shorter board but still want enough true edge for carving.
Brandon W on Feb 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: A wide board would be the best idea for you. If you ride outside the suggested weight range the board may not feel the way it's designed to ride. Check out all the wide board that are in stock here: https://www.the-house.com/snbd-wide-snowboards.html?refine.pagenumber=1&sort_by_field=Namesort%3AASC&refine=y&refine.itemsperpage=120
I order the board about 2 months ago. And I still haven’t received it. Do know when I will receive it?
Derek T on Dec 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi Derek. Thanks for your patience. The House is still waiting to receive the second run of boards from Capita. They have not arrived at our warehouse yet. The current expected arrival date is 12/14. As soon as the boards arrive they'll be shipped out.
I have a 10 to 11 size boot looking at the 158 or 155w 5 11 195lb would either board work?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Either board will work, but the 155cm Wide will be the best!
Trying decide between the DOA and the burton process flying v ? Don't really park just looking for a stable board for the icy east coast conditions. I'm at the intermediate level.
Gary T on Nov 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey Gary,
It totally depends on what you're looking for in a board. The DOA will be more stable at higher speeds, and the Process Flying V will be more playful. The Process will also have more float in powder.
Should I detune the edges of I’m mostly riding Park?
