Best freestyle board
This board is very playful and fun to ride. They say it has medium flex but it feels softer than a medium in my opinion. It's light and fast bc of the sintered base, it has no problems being ridden all mountain even though it's made to be a jib board. The design of the board is cool, and I matched it up with a dope pair of green/camo Union Flite Pros. I get lots of compliments on lift lines.

The snowboard in the video looks bright green but the picture its a regular green color. which is it?
A shopper on Dec 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: They made two different bottom sheets, one with a green background, white capita skull and vica versa. As far as the brightness of the shade I would consider it a bright lime green, as you suggested.

At the risk of being an internet troll I must also add that I would pay a bit more attention to the shape and tech of the board and a little less about the color. I only say that since it's a high end deck, it pops like a cambered board, floats in the pow (with a slightly less than true twin binding setup) and I would still ride it with Capita's standard euro trash graphics all over it.
What is the flex on this board ?
A shopper on Jul 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: By the looks of it the Capita Ultrafear Snowboard has a 5.5 flex rating.
What is the flex on the board ?

BEST ANSWER: The 2014-15 Ultrafear Snowboard is listed by Capita as having a flex rating of 5.5.
Does this board have good pop or is it more of a jibbing board?
A shopper on Mar 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This board is certainly not going to be as snappy as a camber board like the Defenders of Awesome. But, for a jib/park oriented board, it still is decently poppy. I would say that after riding this deck, it is on the poppier end of the spectrum when compared to most other jib boards. It certainly has more pop than the horrorscope.
Im 88kg (194lbs) with size 10-10.5 boot, do you think I could get away with a 153?
Jason A on Mar 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: A 153 would be stretching it. You need a larger size.
If I am still growing would I be better off with the 153? Or would I be good with the 151?
Snowslasher on Mar 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Nathaniel,

It's really depends on what you currently weigh. A board's size is determined by the rider's weight.
Any idea when if at all capita will make the ultrafear in a wide model?
John K on Nov 11, 2014
Good Day! To my knowledge Capita has no intent of making an Ultrafear Wide. On the other hand that is absolutely a question for the good people at Capita Snowboards:
Any word of when this board may come off back order?
tony t on Sep 17, 2014

Hey, I too find it frustrating waiting for new products to arrive. I asked around, and the variables to the release and shipment of products are numerous. The date posted in Orange on the right side of the screen for the Capita Ultrafear 2015 is as accurate as possible. If the date changes, we are not messing with you (I promise), rather there is new info out. Not the answer you wanted, but I hope it helps.
will this boards handle big kickers and rails?
adam r on Sep 2, 2014

The Capita Ultrafear absolutely dominates on big kickers and rails - it's a team favorite!
Hi what's the camber of this board and is it a true twin in shape?
bobo g on Aug 31, 2014

The 2014-15 Capita Ultrafear Snowboard is listed as a True Twin, "Dual Reverse Camber with Freestyle FK Shape." Hope this helps!
