Rad Deck!!!
I haven't bought a snowboard in over a Decade so the technology has come a long way. I picked the Artifact because it seemed like a killer park board and also seemed like it can handle the whole mountain well. So far its been a dream come true, this board is super responsive, with pop for days and did I mention the graphics are DOPE! If your thinking about the Artifact, just do it! Its a boss ass snowboard you'll love.

Good board a bit stiffer then my dc pbj but its still a fun board to ride in the park. It has a lot of pop but you really got to work for it.

Down side

Is this board softer than the DC PBJ?
A shopper on Dec 18, 2015
The DC PBJ is going to be a little softer. Both are sweet boards however.
last year i was about 5'1 and i rode a 142 rome board, now im about 5'4, should i get the 146? i dont dont like my boards big so i think a 149 would be a big step up from 142
A shopper on Aug 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'm about 5'5 and the 149 is a great size for me, it's a wide enough board that you'll be alright in powder and, if you have the leg power I do, you can pop it off pretty easily. It's super fun after about a couple weeks of riding pretty hard, just be easy in questionable terrain, my nose delaminated after about a week in spring conditions.
Good for butters?
Dev k on Nov 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The Rome Artifact Snowboard is amazing for butters. The Rome Artifact ROCKER Snowboard would be even better for butters. Check it out HERE:
I'm 5'11 and around 140 is 155 a good size
And will the large 2015 Rome United's fit this board?
Jay M on Feb 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 149cm will be the best bet for you. The large bindings shouldn't be much of a problem.
I just got this board in a 155 and I'm about 5' 7 160 is that an okay size or did I screw up?
Sharky on Jan 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Depends on what you like. I'm 5' 11" 210 and I ride a 152 in the board with traditional camber. But I only ride park and street so I kinda like a smaller board. 155 is a alright size for your height and weight. It also depends on the camber you bought. Rocker is gonna be more flexy as a traditional camber board is gonna be a little stiffer.
Im about 5'6" and weigh about 135pounds with a size 10.5 boot. Would the 146 be to small for me? I rode a 150 last season but wanted to down size
Ryan G on Jan 21, 2017
Though your own style and opinion matter, most companies would suggest that a 151 to 153 length would be a better option. There are a couple boards out there that are specifically made to be ridden shorter than normal.... take a look at those. Example:
would burton cartel binding fit this?
A shopper on Jan 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: REgular Burton Cartel's would, not EST Cartel's.

so is this a rocker board or traditional camber ?
Yeshua O on Nov 28, 2015
This Artifact is a traditional Camber board. The Artifact Rocker here: will have a hybrid rocker shape.
im 5'6" 170 what size should i get of this board 146 or 149?
A shopper on Oct 11, 2015
Rome suggests that the 146 is too small for you . The 149 or 152 length will be much better. If you like your boards short you could handle the 149 length.
Whats the flex rating on this?
A shopper on Sep 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'd give the Rome Artifact Snowboard a 4/4.5. It's a little softer than average.
Does the board come waxed or do you have to wax before you hit the mountain?
A shopper on Jan 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The Rome Artifact Snowboard is factory waxed. The board can be ridden about 5 times before it needs another wax.
