Description: Rome Winterland Snowboard - Womens

An all-new freeride shape, loaded to the teeth with features, for riders who desire a board that masters all snow conditions. The Winterland from Rome comes with a camber profile and a directional shape, resulting in a forward-thinking ride that you can take all over the resort. Rome's TurboRods add a single rod of dynamically-flexing carbon that runs throughout the length of the deck, for added snap and energy in the deck, without sacrificing any unwanted torsional stiffness. All built on top of Rome's SinterTrue base, for a base that holds wax well and blows the doors off everyone else on the hill. Don't let the name fool you the Winterland is no walk in the park she is a full-on blizzard.

IN LOVE
Upgraded to this board from a beginner board and this board is a DREAM. Amazing floaty feel when riding. Does awesome in powder, keeps you moving, good edges slice through the snow. This board is also fast. I see myself riding this board for a long time, and once it's time for a new board I'll be seeking to find one very similar. Awesome graphic as well

Nice!
Well, my last snowboard was from 2004 and it was a flat snowboard (unsure if it they had camber/ rockers back then). Anyway, I only go snowboarding once a year for ~1 week, but this year I went for 2 weeks. Decided to get a new board and I'm glad I did! Clearly, I was looking for the most economical one, so I went with a board that's a little older... But I'm glad I got this one. The board rides well in both powder and doing the little hops/ jumps at the park. Plus, it looks great! I'm happy!

I didn't know what I was missing out on until I got this!
Upgraded to this from my first/beginner board after riding that one for 10 years. It is amazing!! So much more control than my last board. I mostly freeride. It rides well in powder and on groomed trails. I would say my ability level is borderline between intermediate and advanced. I rides lots of blues and sometimes blacks. I've got the maroon colorway and love it. Looks sweet and I love that you can see the board base through the clear 'W' section.

Quality intermediate/advanced board, stiffer than expected
Having ridden lots of freeride boards in the medium to stiff flex range, this is a solid women's freeride board (especially for the sale price). That said, despite being right in the middle of the suggested weight range for the 154cm, I find this board much stiffer than "medium flex" as indicated by The House. On Rome's website, they indicate this as a 7/10 for flex, but it is definitely on the stiffer side. Still happy with the deal I got, but I was really hoping for a true medium flex board, which this is not - but if you want a freeride board that is stiff and more aggressive, you'll love this.

Weight limit says 115 any of the current owners over the weight limit for the 145 if so any issues?
Jessica W on Feb 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I think you'd be fine if you're over the weight limit since it definitely rides on the stiffer side anyway. More weight = a bit more flex, which might make the board even more fun.
This board compared to DC supernatant?

BEST ANSWER: Yes.
