For the 'lil Gromlet in your life who loves to stomp around the park as much as they love to stomp through the mud, the Custom Smalls is here to deliver all-mountain versatility on a budget. Featuring Burton's Flying V shape, it gives off the float of a true camber board between the feet, and the versatility of a rocker board on the nose and tail. Perfect for all skill levels, beginner and intermediate alike, the mid-range flex is ideal for cruising the groomer's of your favorite resort, or using a powder-snorkel in the heart of the backcountry. What is the flex number on this board and will it be good for park riding?
Snowboarder23 on Apr 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This Is a Board I Bought for my Wife, SHe is 5'1" 105 lbs it is a pretty stiff board for he but she likes to hit the jumps on it this season in the park.
My son is 12, weighs 100 lb, is 5' 3" and wears a 9.5 boot. A friend has the same board and there is overhang for my son on it. But, a longer board seems to be too long. Is the overhang ok? He's an intermediate boarder. Any advice?
A shopper on Feb 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: A little bit of overhang is ok. A 9.5 is right on the border of being too big for this board. If he is not comfortable with the amount of overhang, adjusting the binding angles to be more duck-footed will help a little bit. Otherwise, you would want to look for a board with a wider waist width. A 25cm waist width would be better suited for a 9.5 boot, but, as I said above, this board at a 24.5cm waist width should be ok for the average rider!
We ordered this item and was excited that it was shipping in two days but we live in Idaho? Was so sad to find it shipped east instead of west! Our surprise birthday present won’t be here till Monday! Birthday for Trent is Saturday! WHY? Don’t you know that Idaho is West not east? Please tell me why it was shipped toMinneapolis?
Eunice on Feb 8, 2018
I am happy to look into your order.... note that we are based in the Minneapolis MN area (St. Paul).
Hi I'm 120 pounds and have size 10 boot - would board work for me. The length is right based on my weight? Is it wide enough for size 10 boot?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That would be one of the best options for your weight and boot size. Another great option would be the 145cm Burton Instigator. Check it out HERE:
