First snowboard I've bought since learning on an old Rossingnol 5 years ago. Love this board! It's so fast, strong, and charges hard. Good amount of flex means I'm tail pressing down the whole mountain and I got cruising much faster than my boyfriend last year on this board. A little heavy in deep powder, but it's a very fun cruiser. I got the teal color, along with some bright teal Union bindings, and it's so pretty. Size of board determines color, but get the right size for yourself.

I need to get a 146 board but if I'm spending this amount of money on the board I want to make sure that the color is the one shown with the 146 with the black bottom. Is there any way to know or order specific since it specifically says "board base color will vary"?
kylee on Feb 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hey there Kylee,

I can't guarantee you a certain color. Manufacturers send us varied amounts of different die cut base colors that don't follow a formula. Every board will have that black color in the base that you see. You may get it without the red however.
Will it handle icy conditions alright?
Mack Rose on Jan 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Oh yea it's got a nice sharp metal edge that cuts through ice. And you still will have the ability to control your speed, even on ice because of the sharp edges. I love this board, nice and playful
I weigh 120 would the 142 still work for me? Or should I just get the 144
Maddie on Oct 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hey Maddie,
For this board either size would work. It will just depend on your riding preference. If you like shorter boards so that you can turn faster etc.. we recommend the 142, if you want a little more length to it for more carving go with the 144.
What size should I get? I really like small boards & was thinking about the 146 but I'm 5'6" 126 pounds. Is 146 too small?
Megan B on Feb 29, 2016

No, it's not too small. Capita's suggested weight for the 146cm is 90-135 lbs!
My girlfriend has Flow Juno large bindings - looking to get her the 142 but waist width is smaller than her other boards - would love to get it for her if you don't think she'll have any problems with toe drag?
that guy on Jul 13, 2016

Size large Juno bindings would fit on the 23.5cm waist width of the Capita Birds of a Feather snowboard. The bindings won't catch on the snow, however if you're girlfriend has size 11 women's boots she may have toe/heel drag.
Is a 150 too short for 5'6" female? I will be riding in Utah this winter and hopefully lots of powder
A shopper on Nov 30, 2015
It completely depends on your weight.. that is how lengths are determined. The Capita Birds of a Feather is a sweet board... but it may not be the best POW board for Utah.
Is there any sizes larger than 150? I saw online a 153 and 154
A shopper on Nov 24, 2015
Capita for 2016 does make a 152 and 154 version of this board. We have sold out! I apologize.
