I was surprised when the board arrived and it turned out to be purple on the back although the picture was yellow. It worked out to my advantage because I like it better but I am sure others would like to view the actual product image.

my wife is 5'6" + is this a good size 150cm?
A shopper on Dec 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: 150 should be fine. you typically want the board around shoulder - neck height. Weight also plays a factor here, if she is over 150lbs you might want to go a little higher.
I'm 5'6 175lbs female 8.5 shoe who is a very very new beginner. Do you recommend the 150 or 155 for learning on?
Daisy W on Mar 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would say the 155 would be a great starting board. It will give you more stability on the slopes that a 150. As you progress and figure out your riding style, either all-mountain or free style, I would suggest getting a board that specializes in that. The Genie is an AWESOME board for beginning females. The shape and contour of the board lends itself to have a smooth ride while also being easy to maneuver in all conditions.
Hi! I am 5'5' and 130lbs. Is this a good size for me? 150cm?
Shishi on Feb 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Shiyuan,

Absolutely! The 150 will fit great! For additional information on sizing, check out our chart here:
I am 5”3 and weigh about 185 lbs my foot size is a 9 . I am decently okay at snowboarding I’m definitely not a beginning but I’m definitely not advanced either would this size board (150cm) work for me?
Danielle L on Dec 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This board is a very beginner aimed board. My girlfriend has been riding this board for 2 seasons and we are looking to move up to something more intermediate.

This board has soft edges and a lot of old school technology, it makes it really easy when you're trying to iron out your fundamental skills in the early learning phase but as you progress into wanting to carve, and charge lines harder this board does not do well.

In my opinion Mervin Made (Roxy, Gnu, Libtech) Makes the best women's gear with the most technology for snowboards. I would look into an intermediate level roxy board or gnu!
My shoe size is 10 Man Burton boots - would that work for this board?
Victoria S on Dec 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the answers guys!! Yeah Victoria, you will most likely be able to make this board work. We do have a 30 day return policy if that isn't the case.
Since the base color may vary, can I request a specific color?
A shopper on Nov 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I can't speak for all companies, but Burton changes base color with the different sizes of the board. To get a specific color, you would need to order a specific size board, which may not be the size you need.
What bindings will work with this board?

Is the bottom of this board actually yellow or will it come with a different color like one of the comments sayingthat theirs came in purple?
A G on Oct 4, 2018
It may be yellow, but it also may be purple or pink. Brands have varying base colors to not waste any materials in the manufacturing process.
Hey, my name is Dylan, I am 5"11 150 pounds and my shoe size is 9.5. I'm wonder what board would be the best, preferably under 200$ also whey boot size would I be as well and snowboard size?
Dylan on Jan 3, 2017
You will want a board between 156cm and 159cm length... depending on your skill and style. A 9.5 boot will work just fine with a normal width snowboard. This might be a great versatile board:
I bought my girlfriend a Burton Genie Womens Snowboard and Womens Rossignol Myth Bindings will the bindings be compatible with the board? I know some companies send bindings with altered base plates to fit different boards.
A shopper on Dec 3, 2015
The Myth bindings I can locate are only compatible to the standard 4-hole mounting system. You can check with our warranty dept to see if they have some Rossignol 3-hole plates (I doubt it... the three hole system is sort of unique now). 1 (800) 409-7669
I wear a size 11. Will this board work for me or do I need w mid-wide or wide board?
Kristen G on Jan 28, 2015
An 11 Women's I imagine? You could make this work for the 150 and 155 sizes of this Burton Genie. For the shorter sizes you would want to look at a mid-wide.
