Description: Avalanche Finesse Snowboard - Womens

The perfect board for the girl who is new to snowboarding, who wants a solid board for a decent price! The Finesse from Avalanche comes constructed on a flat camber profile, meaning the base of the board is in contact with the snow at all times, giving the rider a playful feel and stable ride. The twin tip shape means that the board is capable of being ridden either way, regular or switch, and can still be operated properly. All finished off with an extruded base, for easy maintenance and a smooth ride. Whether this is your first snowboard or you're just looking to save a few bucks, this deck is a great choice.

Key Features of Avalanche Finesse Snowboard:
  • All-mountain
  • Twin tip performance
  • Poplar/birch full wood core
  • Beginner to intermediate
  • Woman - specific flex and geometry
  • Extruded 4400 base Triaxial fiberglass TT silk-screened base
  • UV finish Radial sidecut geometry

The MOST Awesome looking board period.
Bought this for my wife. She loved it. Not sure why there is no good looking design for snowboard. This is hands down the prettiest of them all. Wife gets a lot of compliments.

Good beginner board
The board is smooth, good all mountain, and allows me to ride both switch and normal. I bought this as a cheaper replacement for a more expensive board I damaged riding in the glades. I ride park and on the east coast of the U.S. and the edges are a bit torn up and can't handle ice after 15 full days of hard riding on the mountain, so it does need maintenance if you ride this type of terrain. I'm planning on keeping this as a backup/glades board once I get a nicer one again, but this is perfectly serviceable.

Avalanche Finesse Snowboard
This snowboard seems to be the perfect easy going board my wife needed. On a budget, and we went for it. She hasn’t tried it yet, but mounted the bindings, and the feel seems on point for her. I like the construction of the board, and approve. Thank you The House, and we’ll be carving soon

Great board for the money
Bought this board for my 22 year old daughter who is a progressing snowboarder. She’s been riding an older stiff camber board and I felt this board would allow her to progress. She is enjoying the boards soft flex and flat camber profile. The price of this board is very cheap but don’t let that fool you, it’s a well made board for a progressing snowboarder.

Is the bottom of the board pink as shown in the video, or white as shown in the pictures?
A shopper on Mar 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I ordered this in December and the bottom of my board is pink. On a side note I love this board!
Is this board good for beginners?
A shopper on Mar 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This is my 15 year old daughter’s first board as she has always rented and she loves it! I’d say it’s perfect for beginners.
I weigh 145 and am 5’0 what size board should I pick?
Gabby on Nov 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Given your weight and height, the 145cm Avalanche Finesse board would be a great fit!
I’m 5’1 and 110 pounds. What size board should I get?
Tammy W on Jan 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The size chart (https://www.the-house.com/helpdesk/snowboard-sizing/) says 142cm to 148cm. If you prefer more park riding a board on the smaller end might be better, or if you do more speed runs the larger end of the board will allow you to go faster with less chatter.

In the end it comes down to a comfortable stance though, and 148cm might be too big for you (I'm 5'4", 145 pounds and ride a 150cm board).
Hi, is the 140 cm good for me? I'm 5 feet tall, 102 lbs and 4.5 boots
A shopper on Feb 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Are you a youth, teen or adult? Do you plan on progressing? Length-wise, this would be about 5 inches from the top of your head, I'd say not too long, even for a beginner. It seems to be a pretty soft/flexy beginner board though (bought a 150cm for my 5'6 15yo daughter who is a beginner).
Does it come with binding?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No。 you have to buy the binding independently
What size board would be good for a beginner who weighs 165, and wears a size 10 boot ?
A shopper on Dec 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The 150cm Avalanche Finesse would be a great size!
Hi, I’m 5’ and 108lbs and shoe size 5. What size board and binding should I get?
Quyen H on Feb 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would recommend going with the 140cm board and most bindings will be on a size range. Most likely you will be in a small (4-6).
i’m 5’10, 165 pounds. what size board should i get?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The 152cm Finesse would be a perfect fit!
What board what I get if I’m fairly beginner and 5’ 6” 112. Also can I use old bindings?
A shopper on Dec 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The 145cm size would be great. Yes older model bindings can be mounted on the Finesse board.
What size board would I get if I’m 5’2, 135 and wear 7 or 7.5 size boots?
Swimarlett on Nov 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hey Arlet,
You could go 140 or 145. I would go 140 if you're a beginner.
