First board! Love it! My friend has this board and she loved hers so I got one too. I’m just learning and it’s easy to turn with good stability. I got mine with the Chamonix bindings and Sapient boots. Recommend the whole ensemble.

Avalanche snowboard
I have been snowboarding for 20 years. I could not resist the price of this board and gave it a test run this weekend and it is a great little stiff board. I had a blast. No complaints at all.

Avalanche Divane Snowboard
It looks just as pictured, I’m a first-timer so I can’t speak from any experience about the quality, but it worked for what I needed! It was affordable and I had a blast!

Avalanche Divane Snowboard
bought for grandaughter just learning how to snowboard she was renting at mountain . she said the new avalanche was so nice and light and faster and easier to make turns she felt it made the rentals feel like they were heavy plank of board. Loves her new board.

Great board for a great price!
I tried out my board this weekend and I am very pleased with it. I have rented many boards in the past and this one is by far the best board I have ever used. Do note- the bottom of mine came white not pink.

Great board for the price, use it to master everything then step up.
Bought this board for my girlfriend and it’s a great beginner board. It’s an older style twin tip board that’s multidirectional. My girlfriend is pretty small and so I got the 140cm which fits her perfect. Paired it with a set of Ride Lx bindings and Ride Sage boots and it made out for a great first setup.

For those of you trying to learn buy this as opposed to a rental. You won’t get a better decent board for the price. I would go mid-level on the bindings as you just getting to know the in and outs and you will beat up the board in the process so why pay for a board that you won’t get the full functionality out of. You’re not going to be hitting the jibs hard core or the jumps or even back country riding - so start simple then adjust from there. You can then switch your bindings to your newer board once you have progressed.

Perfect board for progression when you need to move up. It will function in powder and on groomed trails as my girlfriend used this board in Vail, Whistler, Brian Head, and home here at Bear Mountain and Mammoth.

Decided to get an early christmas present for my girlfriend since the season is coming soon. Hoping to surprise her with the other gear needed since she never snowboarded before, but this is a great start especially with the price.

The price was unbeatable! I watched the short product review video of the board and it seems like an overall great board. Looking forward to using it this winter. Will leave a more detailed and thorough review on it once I receive and use it.

I’m 5’4 and weigh about 150, would the 151 be a good fit?
A shopper on Jan 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It depends on your ability. I weigh 166 and use a 151 but used a 147 for a long time before I went uo to the longer board. A shorter board may be easier to turn if you are just starting. You would be better with a 147 if you are just starting; if you are a blue to black diamond rider, go 151. If 151 is the only length available, you'll be ok to get it but it may be a little uncomfortable for a day or two.
I’m 5’5 1/2 about 130 pounds and a beginner! Would this be a good board for me? What size?
A shopper on Jan 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The 145cm and 151cm would be the best sizes for you.
Does it come with bindings?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Unless you but a packaged deal, items are sold as pictured. Board & binding can be ordered separately or together.
I am 5ft 3 145lbs and wear a size 8 shoe what size board should I have? And I'm a beginner
Addison C on Feb 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: My girlfriend is 5’10” and weighs 135 pounds with a foot size of 7.5. The boot she uses on the board is a size 7 though. She’s a beginner as well. The board rides great so far for her! I think it should be pretty good for you if you’re going to grow a little in the next couple years, but you may want to go a couple sizes smaller, if you’re going to stay five feet.
Is it ready to use? I mean, does it need to be waxed or sharpened?
Nataliia on Jan 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It seems like it came unwaxed. Edges are very sharp. Waxing is only really necessary if you wanna go really fast.
5'2'' 134lb looking to get the 145cm board, can you check if this one is available with the pink base?
Pixera on Feb 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Mine came with a white base. I don’t think they can guarantee one color or another. BTW, I purchased mine for $30 during the summer.
My daughter is 4’10 125lbs and wears an 8 shoe . What size do you recommend ? She is just beginning
Kimberly on Dec 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For the board the link below will allow you to put in her weight. She needs 144 cm to 149 cm; if just starting I would go on the smaller end. The edge length is how you carve and most importantly stop. Too small and it will take longer to stop however too big and she will be fighting the extra weight and friction.
Will this price and sale be available tomorrow? or over the weekend?
jason on Nov 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It'll most likely sell out before tomorrow. For a $100, it'll be a good idea to pick it up now.
My daughter is 57" with a size 3.5 boot. Will the 140 work for her or is it too wide?
Gary B on Oct 28, 2018
I would say that it will be a bit too wide for a 3.5 boot. If she weighs less than 100lbs, I would look for a smaller board. Most kids boards will be a bit narrower as well.
Which side is front of snowboard? This is my 1st time setting up a snowboard. I've always rented as I am new to snowboarding
Michelle F on May 2, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Stand the board up on end so the graphic is not upside down and the top of the board will be the nose.
If I order this can you guarantee a pink base?

Lover9irl on Jan 14, 2019

I am 4ft 11inch weight about 125-127lbs. what would my board length be?
Jonofre on Jan 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Joe, given your weight and height, I would recommend the 145!
I’m 5’7.75”, weigh 126 Ibs, and have a size 8 shoe size. What would be the best length for me?
Cara K on Dec 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The 145cm size will be best.
What does regular on the waist size mean?
A shopper on Dec 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It means that it's the size that most snowboards are across. It's not a wide or midwide.
My daughter is 5’3” and 110lbs. Has Burton size 8 boots and Burton bindings 4x4. What size of this board do you recommend. She rides a 135 now. Would I need to go bigger?
Erix C on Dec 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Size 135-145cm would be great. The 145cm Divane would be a great choice.
Im new to snowboarding boot size 6 I'm 5'5 and 120lbs would this be a good board as a beginner?
Bidiboo on Dec 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes! The Divane is a great board to get started on!
Can I mount Burton bindings on this board?
Robert H. on Dec 16, 2018
This Avalanche snowboard uses the standard 4-hole mounting style (4x4 specifically). To answer your question, it depends on the bindings. Some of Burton's stuff will be compatible... some will not. If you can get me a little more info, I can be more specific.
My wife is tall (72/73"), wears 10-10.5, but is only 145lbs. Would the 154 be appropriate size for her?
SethS on Dec 4, 2018

I would really like the pink base on this board, but it says it may vary. How can I make sure I get the pink base?
Emily on Jul 25, 2018
I am pretty sure that this one only comes with the pink base. What size are you looking at? I can go check in the warehouse once I know what size.
My wife wears a size 10 boot would a 145 be too small for her boot size?
