Solid and cheap
Just got the board and my son hasnt ridden it yet. However, my older son has had 5150s in the past and I can say they are great boards for the money. There is no way I will pay for a Burton or Capita until he is older. Arrived on time with nice extras. Thank you

so far so good. My son use the board for the first time yesterday and loved it. sharp edges with the rocker technology makes it easy to carve and he did not catch very many edges yesterday! Good looking bored too.

the 5150 website says this board has a rad-rocker profile, flat between the inserts and rocker to the tip and tail. Description above says it's camber. Is this board a rocker or camber?

My grandson is 10 about 4 ft 10 inchs and weighs 75 lbs is this a good board for him?
Gayle D on Nov 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This size that I got would probably be a little to small for a child that weighss 75 pounds. I bought it for my son that is 6 and weighs around 50 pounds. My oldest is 10 and weighs 75 and rides a 128.
Would this board at 138cm be a suitable for a beginner who is 5ft tall and about 90lbs?
A shopper on Oct 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the answers.
The most important factor in determining snowboarding length is ones weight. At 90 lbs (and 5ft tall) they would want a snowboard between 135cm length and 140cm length. A 128 will be a bit small. Look here:

How do I size a board with me?
A shopper on Jan 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: By your height , weight, and what kind of rider u are.. If u want to park ride go with something shorter ..If u back country Riding you longer board tall are u ?
if my daughter is currently using a 125, does it make a difference if its a 128? might be a silly question, but this is not my specialty!
A shopper on Dec 31, 2015

she might notice a small difference, but not much. Depending on her height and weight, she should be able to make the transition with little to no problem. Personally, I like to switch between a 153 and 155 board.

Can i use salomon pact 2014-2015 bindings on the 5150 shooter (138 cm)?
Vince M on Aug 1, 2015
Both the pact bindings and this 5150 snowboard use the standard 4-hole mounting pattern and will be compatible. Good to go!
Hi there my son is 6 years old 47" and wears a size 3, we have burton boots and looking at this board in a 108cm w the mission burton bindings will they work good together? Will the bindings fit the board?
Thank you
Janene d on Nov 27, 2014
Sorry to delay your answer. The Mission Smalls Youth bindings use the regular 4 hole mounting system, and will work with this board. The board length is determined more by weight that height. The 108 length 5150 Shooter will be ideal for a youth who is like 60-90 pounds. All in all, a nice set up.
