Great ski, just beyond my ability...
Only giving it a 4-star because I'm not a strong enough skier to access it's true potential. I thought I was getting a waxless ski, don't know how I confused that. After a season of struggling to get the waxing right, I've decided I'm better off with a mellower ski, so ended up with the X-Tour. ZyMax is still a great ski, I'm just a so-so skier.

Great Ski
I purchased these skis for my girlfriend who is a intermediate skier. I put a good set of bindings on the skis. I wax them with downhill wax and put cross country wax on the kick zone. They are a great ski for track skiing and groomed trails. They hold well on hills and are fast on the flats. They are light for the price.

Are these waxless or waxable?
A shopper on Nov 14, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Waxable only. Iron in downhill wax on a clean base, and rub in cross country wax on the kick zone.
Recommended ski for classic and skate?
tom W on Feb 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This ski is for classic only. If you are looking for a ski to do both, you will need to search for "combi" skis. Honestly I would recommend a pair of skis for each technique as each type of skiing carries different flex properties.
