I demoed years ago the Volant Spatula - which had a wider waist than the tips/tails. It was like a water ski slalom (1 ski w/ 2 feet on it). It was over 4 ft. & steep. I wish Labs came in a longer length.

So are the Labs a cap ski, semi-cap ski, or a regular ski (w/ straight 90 degree sidewalls)? What's the composition of the base? Is the 3mm convex in the center of the ski's base?

Thank You

BEST ANSWER: Hello, Davis T., the ski is going to be a Full sidewall construction and be a sintered base, the center of ski will be the lowest contact point with the 3mm rocker extending outwards tip to tail. Hope this helps.
Are the LAB's are an all-rocker ski? In deep powder a rocker ski is the way to go. If not, how deep is the camber in millimeters? How stuff is the LAB? I love how nowadays some powder ski makers have changed from a flat base to a concave base. I demoed some Volant Spatulas - the waist was wider than the tip and tail. I think they were the first rocker ski.

BEST ANSWER: The Surface LAB Skis are a great choice, they have a Continuous Tip & Tail Rocker.
