After years of development and testing by skiing pioneer, filmmaker, and professional Eric Pollard, the Line Pescado is finally here with it's extremely unique, surf-inspired powder ski shape. Designed to move beyond conventional ideas of what a ski can be, and borrowing heavily from fishtail surfboards and snowboards with its swallowtail design, Eric set out to create a directional ski with a set back mounting point to surf the Earth. It features a soft directional flex that gets stiffer towards the tail, providing power, stability, and control at high speeds. Coming in at 180cm with a 125mm waist underfoot, this ski offers early rise rocker, allowing for easier turn initiation and effortless float in deep snow along with 5 different sized sidecut radius shapes blended into one for intuitive control, allowing the rider to turn in many different ways. In addition to early rise, this ski offers early taper where the widest points on the ski are drawn in, making it easier to turn and reduces hookups in deeper snow. These qualities combine with both the lightweight Partly Cloudy core and wood veneer top sheet to create a ski that will spin heads in the lift line and keep you spinning laps all day long.
