MY siblings and I are looking for cross country skis with boots, bindings and poles. Suggestions?
A shopper on Jan 1, 2015
I would chat with our ski specialists as there is a lot to know here: 1 (800) 409-7669. Ski length will be determined by your weight and height. Are you new to the sport? We have great packages, and we would be happy to help you. Some ski resorts and parks have rental skis so you could figure out what is right for you. There are also places like play-it-again sports that have used skis.
What length ski would be needed for 5' 11"/215 pound person?
HarleyH on Dec 6, 2014
Although some of your decision is just personal preference, Alpina suggests a ski around 185cm length would be the best option for you (Classical Style Ski).
Are these skis suitable for back country skiing?
A shopper on Dec 25, 2013
BEST ANSWER: It does have a wider tip that will allow for breaking ground but it is not a 'backcountry' ski
