Description: Rossignol S7 Skis - Womens

Setting the standard for all freeride skis, the Rossignol S7 Skis won't disappoint when you're in the pow. These skis are for the fluffiest, powderiest, softest snow Mother Nature has to offer. The spoon tip and pin tail will keep you afloat the pow the whole ride down. Besides being some killer powder skis, these are also incredibly versatile. If you're going to hit the groomed path, these will still work fantastically. Rossignol's WRS (Weight Reduction System) eliminates weight out of the extremities, letting you spin off jumps quickly. The S7s are a very well rounded ski - they will make intermediates better, and experts will fall in love.

I LOVE these skis!
I'm an intermediate skier who has advanced significantly this season due to these skis. I bought these skis on a whim in the 178 length although I'm 5'7" and weigh 145. (See my questions below) They are soooo much fun and have gotten me through knee deep pow and spring crud this epic season in Tahoe 2016/2017. They are stable and buoyant and have given me the confidence to ski the ungroomed black diamond runs in powder or over moguls or chop. I also have the S3 in a 168, but have to say that I prefer these. Despite the width at the waist, I can still get an edge on cruising the groomers, and they really show their stuff in the deep stuff. What a confidence building ski! I can't believe they are still here for sale!

I love these skis!
These skis are a fantastic all mountain ski. They turn easily and handle powder, bumps, crud, and cruisers with equal ease.

I'm an advancing intermediate skier and am 5'7". I weigh 145 lbs. Are the 178s too long for me? I currently ski a Head Joy 158 with a 73 waist.
Brook B on Jul 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Brook, the best length for you would be the 168cm. it would give you a good combination of stability and maneuverability. 178cm would be a bit long. Also note the S7 is a powder specific ski not all mountain. In powder it is a very good ski.
The description says "base color may vary" but what other base colors could it possibly be?
SarahCollins on Nov 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The bottoms of mine are multicolored so maybe that's what it means? Great ski!
Hi! Is there any weight information available, either per ski or for the pair?
A shopper on Mar 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: S7 weights
168cm 1836 grams per ski
178cm 1980 grams per ski
188cm 2267 grams per ski
This is a light and nimble ski in powder.
Hello! I am 5'7 and about 120 lbs. Advanced to expert skier. Have the S3s from this same season in 168cm (which I bought new in around 2012), and I just bought the S7s in 168cm from a ski swap (ex-demos) today. I was really debating whether I should buy the 178s new here (since some people suggest going up 10 cm from your regular ski for powder skis) instead? Could still do that (and resell the 168s)... Is it legit to ski same length on S3 and S7? I love the S3s. I sometimes wish the ski was more stable carving turns at speed on groomers (my old semi-sidecut Dynastar Outlands seemed more stable but were definitely not as fun or responsive (no rocker)), but in general the 168 S3s really perform well for me. They are still my go-to all-around ski. Anyone have any advice? Thanks so much!! Cheers!! :)

BEST ANSWER: The S7 is really a pure powder ski and is not a carving ski away from powder. Length with the S7 is a personal call regards how nimble you want your ski to be in the fall line. At your weight you are a bit of a tweener regards the 178 but it would work. If you want more all around capability from your powder ski look at the Soul 7 a truly remarkable ski. The S3 is a more versatile ski than the S7, but the Soul 7 takes powder and versatility to a whole new level.
Do these come in a shorter ski say 154-158 length?
London B on Dec 30, 2015
I apologize... no. Rossignol only made this ski in 168cm and 178cm lengths (fairly specific skis).
Do these skis come in 154 to 156?
A shopper on Dec 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately not. We currently only have these skis available in a 178cm size.
Do you have this in a 163 height?
Sandra F on Dec 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Sandra - we do not. Sorry.
Is there any way I can receive an update if these skis come back in stock in the 168 length?
Sophia P on Nov 30, 2015

These Rossginol S7 Skis are from the 2013 season and reorder is not available.
I found these in the "Cyber Deal" section with a supposed extra 20% in cart. That doesn't happen when I add it to my cart. Am i doing something wrong?
Megan M on Feb 11, 2015
Even though you clicked on the Cyber Deal icon.. these skis do not have the added 20% attached to them. It is a little confusing, but these Rossignol S7 Skis are currently 45% off the original price. Enter Code: H3404 to your purchase and you will get about exactly 50% off. I apologize for any confusion.
Do you currently have these skis in stock 168?
A shopper on Dec 3, 2014
As of 12/3/14 the Rossignol S7 Skis are available in a 168. Be aware, I just looked, and there are 2 pair left. They cannot be re-ordered.
