Description: Atomic Vantage 85 Skis

The new Vantage range if Atomic''s big news this year. True to its roots it''s a fantastic progressive All Mountain ski, ready for hard pack and soft snow. But Atomic has gone through every layer challenging themselves to make them better. So it now features the Firewall - an extra full sidewall to dampen vibrations and improve edge grip. Plus it has a more directional shape with less tail turn up. The result is a ski with even better piste performance, without sacrificing any of its play in the powder.

If I am 5'8, will finish growing at 5'9 - 5'10, is 173 cm a good size or should I find skis that are a bit smaller ? I ski mostly advanced runs on piste, but am beginning to go off piste more extensively. I just want that to make sure that 173 for somebody who is 5'8 will not be more difficult to control.

BEST ANSWER: You can definitely ski the 173 Vantage, especially off piste.
I’m an advanced skier on and off piste with racing background. Looking for a ski I can carve hard on piste but still do good off piste, I’m 5’11 would this be a good ski? If so would I be better off on a 181 or 173?

If you are lighter (say 160lbs or lighter) and a pretty casual skier, I'd go 173cm. If you are heavier than aorund 160-170lbs and/or ski really aggressively, the 181 would be better for the kind of terrain you're doing.
Are the skis used or new?

the skis are new
