Description: Salomon QST 85 Skis

Never take a day off with the QST 85 Skis from Salomon. These men's skis feature camber in the middle for superb edge control and in hardpack and piste skiing, while slight rocker in the tip and tail provide float in deep snow as well as smoother pivot ability to give you more control in any conditions. A strong wood core extends into the tip and tail to help them perform better in a wide variety of conditions and dampen vibrations to keep chatter at a minimum. Koroyd Honeycomb Tips keep the extremities extremely light for better rotation and less inertia, making it easier to control theme and more comfortable to ride. Sandwiched with the wood core is a basalt later to offer more vibration dampening as well as dual layers of rubber elastomer for durability. They have a semi-sidewall in the middle of the ski for increased play and strength, while fiber reinforcement in the edges offers stiffness and grip in hard snow. These skis are perfect for intermediate-advanced riders that are looking for a do-it-all ski that rides great anywhere on the mountain. With the QST 85 skis, you'll be riding like never before.

Skis Look Good
Skis were enclosed in plastic and look in good condition. QST 85 may be a niche between the groomers and hitting the deep powder, but it a big step up from the skis I've long had.

My concern may be that my boots may be too soft in flex, but I think the skis will be fine for my style. The reviews of the QST that it's less than ideal on the hard snow seems to apply for the greater width.

They are very orange but dark/black bottom. I got Solomon brand boots to match, but check for weight and skill vs. flex level on boots I learn in hindsight.
