I would like to purchase these skiis and bindings and what is your recommendation for a boot for these skiis? I also notice we will have to have the bindings mounted ourself, just want to confirm this is correct?
A shopper on Oct 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I bought the Atomic Liveflex 80 boots because it matched the way I ski and was wide enough to accommodate my feet. I'm over age 50, ski on-piste, mostly blues with a black diamond thrown in from time to time.
The bindings are similar to rental bindings in that the front and rear bindings mount on a rail, and you can slide them back and forth to properly fit your boots. When I received the skis the rails were already mounted to the skis, so mounting the bindings was super easy. Just lift up the locking lever, slide the binding to the proper location, and lower the locking lever. That's it. The instructions are IKEA-esque and describe the process well. I'm still going to take them to my ski shop to have the DIN properly set, and get them tuned.
are the bindings mounted?
William N on Mar 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No you will have to get them mounted at your local ski shop by a certified technician. They are a system ski that comes with the binding included in the purchase price.
