Easy Peasy
Easy turn initiation and great edge hold. Probably the most versatile set of boards I've owned. Cool graphics with matching (and easy to adjust bindings).

Do you mount the binding before shipping?
A shopper on Jan 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Good Morning,
We cannot pre mount bindings when we ship out skis.... I apologize... they need to be set up to you specifically.
what size tip is too wide for a beginner?
palimagator on Mar 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The waist width and radius is more important than the tip width. The AMP Impact 5500 waist is 80 and radius is good for easy carving on the groomers. It is actually a more advanced ski although The-House has it advertised as a youth ski, probably due to the shorter 153cm length is the only one available in stock. I am 63 years old, 5'9", 150#, and a pretty good skier and these are really fun and easy to ski on - However, if I were to do it all over again, I would like this ski better in a 160 or 167cm length so I would have a little longer edge on the snow. This ski would probably work for a beginner who is a little smaller, lighter, and fairly athletic and wants to advance their skills quickly. The-House price is phenomenal for the quality of the ski and with the pre-mounted bases & bindings. Very easy to setup and go.
