Fair price, as well as great reviews on both evo, youtube and the K2 website. Stated it was great for beginners, which I am (transitioning from board to skis, wish me luck), as well as an all mountain ski which I will eventually be doing once I get the hang of skiing.

To replace the same K2 skis that my daughter outgrew; she preferred this topcoat as opposed to the 2017 model.

how much does it cost to mounting ski bindings?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The price varies from shop to shop.
It says that these skis are "Park and Pipe", does that mean they won't do as well on the groomers or in the powder? What difference does the classification "park and pipe" mean?
Aubree M on Apr 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These skis are twin tipped. Same curvature on the back as in the front, So you can ski backwards and take/land jumps in switch. i got these skis for my girlfriend and she hardly rides park, mostly groomers and they work just fine for her. She’s not super aggressive so if you’re looking to get your hips dragging and really push the carving limits of skis, a more focused groomer ski I’m sure would work better for you. They do not have a large profile up front or under foot so I wouldn’t recommend these as a strictly powder ski, we’ve skied in 3-5in of fresh snow and they seem to preform nicel. If you’re out west or get significantly more powder I would recommend something with more width. Overall tho, a great ski! Light, responsive, and have heard zero complaints. Make sure to get gear that suits how you ride, you’ll enjoy skiing so much that way!
Im looking for a cheap pair of bindings that will work for these skis. Can you help me find a pair?
A shopper on Nov 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: What do you consider cheap and what have you budgeted to spend? Some people consider $500 bindings cheap, an other consider $150 cheap...

The 90mm Atomic Warden 11 Ski Bindings are great option at $179.99 (20% off). Check them out HERE: https://www.the-house.com/at1w1100gmw17zz-atomic-ski-bindings.html
what size bindings go with these skis?
A shopper on Nov 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The waist width of the K2 empress is 85cm. So rule of thumb is the ski break should be no wider than 15cm of the base. So 100cm at the largest. After that, just make sure the ski binding breaks are more than 85cm.
My daughter is 5’5” and 140 lbs. is this length of ski too long? Beginner-Interm skier, Wisconsin ski conditions...
A shopper on Dec 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: At 5'5" your daughter can best ski on lengths between 160-170cm.
Do boots fit all bindings?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
Generally speaking standard ski boots and bindings will be universal. However that totally and completely depends on the type of boots you have.
