I surf and am considering buying a wake surfboard. I only weigh 145 lbs and was wondering if the 4'6" would float me? It seems the 4'8" is the common size.

BEST ANSWER: I don't believe the weight ratings are correct for these boards. I bought the 4'8" boards and it won't surf my weight. I'm 6'3" and 250 lbs and have been wake surfing since 2007. I have other brands of boards rated for 250 lbs and they carry my weight no problem. In theory if you only weigh 145 lbs the 4'4" should work for you but i'm not 100% sure.
