Description: O'Brien R5 Wakeboard

With the shape of a snowboard and the strength of a tank, the O'Brien R5 Wakeboard is the ideal item for those of you who like to crash hot and heavy into the wake. With a core constructed of wood, this board is far stronger than those featuring foam cores, and with no fins to create drag, it is all speed with this puppy. A smooth ride and stability are not an issue as long as you are willing to blaze the waterways with the O'Brien R5. It is all about ripping it up with this prime piece of equipment.

  • Wakeboard Binding Compatibility
  • Can not accommodate bindings with a 6in binding plate.
  • Can accommodate bindings with a 8in binding plate in all position options found here.

Need to know what bindings are compatable with this board? I realize these are older boards and by saying this Obriens current line of bindings are too narrow along with roniix bindings that we have tried. Help we wanna ride this board by the weekend.

Best Answer: The O'Brien R5 Wakeboard utilizes an 8" mounting system. The bindings below both have 8" mounting compatibility.
