If you're looking for a little straighter pop, a little higher trajectory off the wake than on the
Liquid Force Angel, consider the
LF Luna.
The Luna incorporates a hybrid three-stage rocker. And what this means is, it's going to give the board a little higher arc off the wake, when leaving the wake, than the continuous rocker of the Angel. But still a really predictable ride. Now, the Luna features the double inside, single concave, to displace the water and soften landings. It's got edge channels to give you positive hold, when putting the board on rail. But also, a really pronounced edge bevel, which is just like an exaggerated variable edge rail. It's going to help this board roll onto edge easier, but still be super forgiving through the mid-section. Then, as you move to the end, this bevel gets progressively smaller and smaller until it becomes a crisp edge, for really precise tracking, combined with deep, molded-in side fins to keep this board really on hold.
In between the side fins, it's got two tip exiting slots, that accelerates the water flow between the fins as it exits the wide tip, giving the board more thrust off the wake. The
Liquid Force Luna wakeboard comes in three sizes now. A 137 is our largest, 133 is our middle, and we're coming out with a new shape, which is the 128.
