As you can guess at
Liquid Force, they are not afraid of color. And neither is Melissa Marquardt. I mean with her new wakeboard, she had great graphic ideas from the get-go, and also unreal wakeboard ideas. Melissa has always been willing to try new stuff. Has always come to us with great new ideas that push us to make better wakeboards.
And then this year, those ideas have been taken not only to a new wakeboard, but a whole new wakeboard category. We call them the Hybrid Flex wakeboards. Now our Hybrid Flex Series incorporates the flex construction of our Press Series, with the bottom contours that we have been developing ever since the birth of wakeboarding. They are shaping our own wakeboards.
And we didn't want to take all of these ideas and all of these benefits that we've learned by doing wakeboards, like Melissa's last wakeboard. The trip shapes were also Melissa's pro-model. And in that, she had a great bottom design, which was double inside single, flowing into a double concave. Placed between two molded inside fins. And we didn't want to sacrifice all just to give it flex wakeboard characteristics.
So with the
Hybrid Series, we are able to integrate two wakeboard concepts into one wakeboard. So it makes for a great wakeboard for rails as well wake to wake. You've got the super flexibility, an unreal graphic, with overprinting and screen printing to give it a 3D effect. Flex construction and 3D bottom contours.
And the Liquid Force Melissa wakeboard comes in three sizes: a 131, a 134, and a 137. Now, not stopping with wakeboards, Melissa's series combines a whole series of items, from an unreal one of a kind Melissa vest, to her limited editions boots. No shortage of ideas from Melissa.
