Here we have the Liquid Force PS3 wakeboard. Now the PS3, was Philip Sloven's 3rd pro model of Liquid Force. And eventhough he's on a new shape this season with his S4, the PS3 is such a solid performer, it still is a main stay in the Liquid Force line.
Now what makes the PS3 such a great all-around wakeboard, is it incorporates what I call a hybrid rocker. And what that is, is we're combining a progressive 3-stage rocker with a continuous rocker through the middle. It gives the wakeboard a more predictable and a less bucking kind of pop that a real aggressive 3-stage rocker would offer. So it still gives you a straight up trajectory but not something that's unpredictable or twitchy. And it gives you solid tracking hold the PS3 wakeboard incorporates long-based side fins. These long-based side fins were inspired by Shawn Watson's previous pro model the Substance. Philip had ridden that wakeboard, liked a lot of the characteristics of how it rode and wanted to supercharge it for his ride when he got time to do his 3rd pro model. So we took the long-based fins of Shawn's original Substance and placed it between 2 tip slots to accelerate the flow through the ends and give the wakeboard more lift.
Combined with a wider tip shape and then a double inside single concave hole to displace the water and soften the landling, the Liquid Force PS3 wakeboard is just a super all around wakeboard. Comes in 3 sizes: 133, 137 and 141.
