Best Answer: Well I can answer this... my son just received his and it's a foam top. He's bummed, he wanted and was expecting grip tape.

Are you able to switch the Eva foam top deck to a grip tape top deck on your own or is the foam deck just stuck to it?

Best Answer: Not really, the foam is stuck on pretty good and the board is not really designed for grip tape
