Hey, guys, I'm Jimmy LaRiche, here with
Hyperlite, to show you the new
Hyperlite SUB 6. This year, it comes in a 138 and a 141. We designed this board with our newest technology.
Hyperlite used the lightweight Nova core and the Monocoque construction. The board is wrapped in Gamma glass and reinforced with carbon fiber. The carbon fiber really makes for a nice ride. It's stiffens up the board, gives you a lot of pop up the top of the wake.
The black line you see here through the board are called the Phalanx construction use to take away unnecessary weight on the board. The fins are on a 6-degree angle which helps you hold a solid edge in the wake.

The Hyperlite Sub 6 Wakeboard is built with a combination of some of the most advanced materials on the market. The Sub VI Wakeboard is an industry first! The Sub 6 DINE series Wakeboard features a new lighter, fully machined Nova core for perfect tolerance and response. The Sub VI Board is then wrapped and sealed with Gama glass and carbon fiber. This system is the perfect ratio of resin to glass and carbon for the lightest possible lay up. Finally to make the Sub VI as strong as it is light we introduced Phalanx construction, a method adopted from the aerospace industry. Phalanx brings the top and bottom laminates together in strategic areas to reinforce the flex and structural integrity of the board. The Sub VI is the first of its kind and poised to revolutionize the sport.
