Hi, I'm Amber Wing and these are my Liquid Force Wing wakeboard boots for 2008. They're my first pro model boot. They come in open toe and closed toe. I've been riding the closed toe. With the closed toe design you get more leverage on the board and there is zero toe lift. This allows you to edge stronger and feel your board better providing more board control.
The wakeboard boots are black with glitter and stars and they come with purple and green laces. You can choose your own design. Whatever color that you want to run. The wakeboard boots have a lower profile and narrower than the guys. They give a really nice fit for the ladies. My boots come with the heel kidneys. So they fit snug around your Achilles and prevent heel lift.
Our new response system plate holds the boot onto the board a lot stronger. This prevents heel lift and toe lift so you have a lot more board control. It's a two plate system. It looks complicated but it's not. I used to always put my boots on so my feet were turning in. It used to take me a few tries to set my boots up properly. With these, the way that they are made, you can't do that. It's impossible. I really like this setup and it's easy to choose your degrees. You can go in half an inch increments. You just take the bottom plate off and flip it. It's a pretty cool thing because your inserts are one inch apart and you can change your bindings a half and inch at a time.
