brady a asked: Is this jacket going to be warm enough in really cold winter conditions with not many layers underneath? I see its very waterproof but I am worried about it not being warm enough Dec 10, 2013

Matt GStaff: Hello Brady,

What do you consider to be really cold conditions? In Costa Rica really cold would be 50°F, in Antarctica really could would be around -70°F.

The Volcom Forged Snowboard Jacket is basically a shell with a mesh liner. The fabric has great windproofing, waterproofing, and breathability properties, but if you're riding in weather under 32°F, you should layer.

The Forged is one of my favorite jackets for this season, the fabric is tough, the fit is perfect, and there are tons of tech features.

Mark SStaff: The Volcom Forge Jacket is just a shell, so you will have to layer underneath it Dec 10, 2013

Matt GStaff: Good pick on the Volcom Forged Snowboard Jacket; it's absolutely epic.

The Volcom Compliment Snowboard Pants use the same shell material as the Forged. I'd go with those » http://www.the-house.com/vo4com02gr14zz-volcom-snowboard-pants.html
